WARNING
.Every person who drives or rides in
this vehicle should use a seat belt at
all times.
. The seat belt should be properly
adjusted to a snug fit. Failure to do
so may reduce the effectiveness of
the entire restraint system and in-
crease the chance or severity of
injury in an accident. Serious injury
or death can occur if the seat belt is
not worn properly.
. Always route the shoulder belt over
your shoulder and across your
chest. Never put the belt behind
your back, under your arm or across
your neck. The belt should be away
from your face and neck, but not
falling off your shoulder.
. Position the lap belt as low and
snug as possible AROUND THE
HIPS, NOT THE WAIST. A lap belt
worn too high could increase the
risk of internal injuries in an acci-
dent.
. Be sure the seat belt tongue is
securely fastened to the proper buckle.
. Do not wear the seat belt inside out
or twisted. Doing so may reduce its
effectiveness.
. Do not allow more than one person
to use the same seat belt.
. Never carry more people in the
vehicle than there are seat belts.
. If the seat belt warning light glows
continuously while the ignition is
turned ON with all doors closed and
all seat belts fastened, it may in-
dicate a malfunction in the system.
Have the system checked. It is
recommended you visit a NISSAN
dealer for this service.
. No changes should be made to the
seat belt system. For example, do
not modify the seat belt, add mate-
rial or install devices that may
change the seat belt routing or
tension. Doing so may affect the
operation of the seat belt system.
Modifying or tampering with the
seat belt system may result in
serious personal injury.
. Once a seat belt pretensioner has
activated, it cannot be reused and

replacement indicator for a certain
driving distance does not mean your
tires will last that long. Use the tire
replacement indicator as a guide only
and always perform regular tire checks.
Failure to perform regular tire checks,
including tire pressure checks could
result in tire failure. Serious vehicle
damage could occur and may lead to a
collision, which could result in serious
personal injury or death.

the last reset. The displayed time can be reset
by pushing the

Trip odometer:

distance the vehicle has been driven since the
last reset. Resetting is done by pushing the

Distance to empty (MILES or km)GUID-6D734799-499F-4B18-B4E4-3E963CE6F39FThe distance to empty (dte) mode provides you
with an estimation of the distance that can be
driven before refueling. The dte is constantly
being calculated, based on the amount of fuel in
the fuel tank and the actual fuel consumption.
The display is updated every 30 seconds.
The dte mode includes a low range warning
feature. If the fuel level is low, the warning is
displayed on the screen.
When the fuel level drops even lower, the dte
display will change to ªÐк.
. If the amount of fuel added is small, the
display just before the ignition switch is pushed to the OFF position may continue to
be displayed.
. When driving uphill or rounding curves, the
fuel in the tank shifts, which may momenta-
rily change the display.

headlights turn off automatically.
Daytime running light systemGUID-C9320D0A-68B9-4A7B-855F-2CE3D3C0EF9AThe daytime running lights automatically illumi-
nate when the engine is started with the parking
brake released. The daytime running lights
operate with the headlight switch in the OFF
position or in the
position. Turn the head-
light switch to the
position for full illumina-
tion when driving at night. However, the daytime
running lights will turn off.
If the parking brake is applied before the engine
is started, the daytime running lights do not
illuminate. The daytime running lights illuminate
once the parking brake is released. The daytime
running lights will remain on until the ignition
switch is pushed to the OFF position.
WARNING
When the daytime running light system
is active, tail lights on your vehicle are
not on. It is necessary at dusk to turn on
your headlights. Failure to do so could
cause an accident injuring yourself and
others.

Setting the Image Viewer:

screen display. The following settings are
available for the full screen display.
. Slideshow Speed
Select the ªSlideshow Speedº key. From the
following display, select the changing time
from 5, 10, 30, 60 seconds or ªNo Auto
Changeº.
. Slideshow Order
Select the ªSlideshow Orderº key. From the
following display, select ªRandomº or ªOrder
Listº. For ªOrder Listº, the image order is the
order of the files as stored on the USB
memory.
Operating tips:

. If an electronic device (such as a digital
camera) is directly connected to the vehicle
using a USB cable, no image will be
displayed on the screen.
. If the file name is too long, some file names
may not be entirely displayed.
. When the total number of characters in the
file name exceeds 100 or if 1 file name in a
directory exceeds 100 characters, all files
will show a shortened 8-character version.
The image will still be displayed when
selected.

function in your NISSAN radio system.
Reception conditions will constantly change
because of vehicle movement. Buildings, terrain,
signal distance and interference from other
vehicles can work against ideal reception.
Described below are some of the factors that
can affect your radio reception.
Some cellular phones or other devices may
cause interference or a buzzing noise to come
from the audio system speakers. Storing the
device in a different location may reduce or
eliminate the noise.
SAA0306
FM radio reception:GUID-32446E78-8BDD-4AAB-81E3-575A1D70DB41Range: FM range is normally limited to 25 to 30
miles (40 to 48 km) , with monaural (single
channel) FM having slightly more range than
stereo FM. External influences may sometimes
interfere with FM station reception even if the
FM station is within 25 miles (40 km). The
strength of the FM signal is directly related to the
distance between the transmitter and receiver.
FM signals follow a line-of-sight path, exhibiting
many of the same characteristics as light. For
example they will reflect off objects.
Fade and drift: As your vehicle moves away from
a station transmitter, the signals will tend to fade
and/or drift.Static and flutter: During signal interference from
buildings, large hills or due to antenna position,
usually in conjunction with increased distance
from the station transmitter, static or flutter can
be heard. This can be reduced by lowering the
treble setting to reduce the treble response.
Multipath reception: Because of the reflective
characteristics of FM signals, direct and re-
flected signals reach the receiver at the same
time. The signals may cancel each other,
resulting in momentary flutter or loss of sound.
AM radio reception:
GUID-0BB41A00-0CBA-4755-81B0-5AD3A95515E8AM signals, because of their low frequency, can
bend around objects and skip along the ground.
In addition, the signals can be bounced off the
ionosphere and bent back to earth. Because of
these characteristics. AM signals are also
subject to interference as they travel from
transmitter to receiver.
Fading: Occurs while the vehicle is passing
through freeway underpasses or in areas with
many tall buildings. It can also occur for several
seconds during ionospheric turbulence even in
areas where no obstacles exist.
Static: Caused by thunderstorms, electrical
power lines, electric signs and even traffic lights.

Satellite radio reception (if so equipped):GUID-2FD258A6-04E7-433F-BD47-DA260C924DFDWhen the satellite radio is used for the first time
or the battery has been replaced, the satellite
radio may not work properly. This is not a
malfunction. Wait more than 10 minutes with the
satellite radio ON and the vehicle outside of any
metal or large building for the satellite radio to
receive all of the necessary data.
The satellite radio mode requires an active
SiriusXM Satellite Radio subscription. The sa-
tellite radio is not available in Alaska, Hawaii and
Guam.
The satellite radio performance may be affected
if cargo carried on the roof blocks the satellite
radio signal.
If possible, do not put cargo near the satellite
antenna.
A build up of ice on the satellite radio antenna
can affect satellite radio performance. Remove
the ice to restore satellite radio reception.

Compact Disc (CD) playerGUID-9AF8323F-0773-4FA7-9E20-7DDE8BF5044F.Do not force a compact disc into the CD
insert slot. This could damage the CD and/
or CD changer/player.
. Trying to load a CD with the CD door closed
could damage the CD and/or CD changer. .
During cold weather or rainy days, the player
may malfunction due to the humidity. If this
occurs, remove the CD and dehumidify or
ventilate the player completely.
. The player may skip while driving on rough
roads.
. The CD player sometimes cannot function
when the passenger compartment tempera-
ture is extremely high. Decrease the tem-
perature before use.
. Only use high quality 4.7 in (12 cm) round
discs that have the ªCOMPACT disc DIGI-
TAL AUDIOº logo on the disc or packaging.
. Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight.
. CDs that are of poor quality, dirty, scratched,
covered with fingerprints, or that have pin
holes may not work properly.
. The following CDs may not work properly:
Ð Copy control compact discs (CCCD)
Ð Recordable compact discs (CD-R)
Ð Rewritable compact discs (CD-RW)
. Do not use the following CDs as they may
cause the CD player to malfunction.
Ð 3.1 in (8 cm) discs
Ð CDs that are not round
Ð CDs with a paper label
Ð CDs that are warped, scratched, or have
abnormal edges

switch is in theªACCº orªONº position.
POWER ON/OFF:

button.
. The system will turn on in the mode which
was used immediately before the system
was turned off.
. If there is no CD loaded, the radio will be
turned on.
To turn off the audio system, push the Power
button.
Volume control:

knob.
Turn the VOL control knob clockwise to make
the sound louder.
Turn the VOL control knob counterclockwise to
make the sound quieter.
SETUP button:

direction settings, perform the following proce-
dure:
1. Push the SETUP button. 2. Push the ENTER button.
3. Turn the TUNE/MENU knob clockwise or
counterclockwise, the display will appear in
the following order:
Audio ÛClock ÛLanguage ÛScroll
Direction
After the desired levels have been set, push
either the back button repeatedly, the SETUP
button, or wait for 8 seconds without pushing
any buttons to exit the menu screen.
Audio adjustments:

screen then select Audio by using TUNE/MENU
knob.
Each time the ENTER button is pushed, the
mode will change as follows:

Turn the TUNE/MENU knob clockwise or
counterclockwise to adjust the following items
and push the ENTER button to confirm.
Bass control:
Use this control to enhance or attenuate bass
response sound.
Treble control:
Use this control to enhance or attenuate the treble.
Fade control:
Use this control to adjust the balance of the
volume between the front and rear (if so
equipped) speakers.
Balance control:
Use this control to adjust the balance of the
volume between the left and right speakers.
AUX VOL (Auxiliary volume) control:
Use this control to adjust the volume output from
the auxiliary source.
SPD VOL (Speed volume) control:
This mode controls the volume output from the
speakers automatically in relation to vehicle
speed.
Adjusting the setting to 0 (zero) turns off the
speed volume feature.
Clock setting:

PLAY:GUID-12CD4A23-7446-4924-B860-AC731BCCCC55When the DISC´AUX (CD play) button is
pushed with the system off and the CD loaded,
the system will turn on and the CD will start to
play.
When the DISC´AUX button is pushed with the
CD loaded and the radio playing, the radio will
automatically be turned off and the CD will start
to play.
Menu:
GUID-00E8B893-3B46-4B0E-97EF-AA52D4464AE9When the ªMenuº key on the display is selected
while the CD is being played, the menu screen
will be displayed. The following menu options
are available.
.Folder List (for CD with compressed audio
files)
Displays the folder list.
. Track List
Displays the track list.
. Play Mode
Select a play mode from the following items.
Ð Normal
Ð 1 Folder Repeat (for CD with com-
pressed audio files)
Ð 1 Track Repeat
Ð 1 Disc Random Ð 1 Folder Random (for CD with com-
pressed audio files)
Next/Previous Track and Fast
Forward/Rewind:

than 1.5 seconds while the CD is being played,
the CD will play while fast forwarding or
rewinding. When the button is released, the
CD will return to normal play speed.
When the
orbutton is pushed for less
than 1.5 seconds while the CD is being played,
the next track or the beginning of the current
track on the CD will be played.
When the rewind button is pushed for less than
1.5 seconds within 3 seconds after the current
track starts playing, the previous track will be
played. Push the button several times to skip
through the tracks.

played, the play pattern can be changed as
follows:

CD loaded, the CD will be ejected.
If the CD comes out and is not removed, it
will be pulled back into the slot to protect
it.
DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) PLAYER
OPERATION (models with navigation
system)

PrecautionsGUID-4C92CCF2-5340-432C-85EC-DBA0ABDB5119Start the engine when using the DVD entertain-
ment system.
Movies will not be shown on the front display
while the vehicle is in any drive position to
reduce driver distraction. Audio is available
when a movie is played. To view movies in the
front display, stop the vehicle in a safe location,
move the shift lever to the P (Park) position and
apply the parking brake.
