BLIND SPOT WARNING (BSW) (if so equipped)
The BSW alerts the driver when another vehicle
moves into the vehicle’s blind spot area.
An indicator light located near the outside mirrors
1 will illuminate if the radar sensors detect a
vehicle in the detection zone.
The indicator light 2 will illuminate after the
ignition switch is ON and the BSW is enabled. This indicates that
the BSW is operational.
For more information, refer to the “Starting and driving (section 5)” of your Owner’s Manual.

NEW SYSTEM FEATURES
There are some areas where the system will not detect objects.
• When in the front or the rear view display, an object
below the bumper or on the ground may not be
detected 2.
• When in the bird’s-eye view, a tall object near the seams of the
camera detecting areas 3 will not appear in the monitor.
• The distance between objects viewed on the Around
View® Monitor differs from the actual distance.
Objects in the bird’s-eye view will appear further
than the actual distance.
MOVING OBJECT DETECTION (MOD) (if so equipped)
The MOD system helps inform the driver of moving objects around the vehicle.
The system will operate when the shift lever is in the D (DRIVE), N (NEUTRAL),
R (REVERSE) and P (PARK) positions and the vehicle is driven at speeds of
approximately 5 mph (8 km/h) or less.
If the MOD system detects moving objects, a yellow frame will be displayed on the\
camera image.
When the following is displayed:
• Blue MOD icon 4; the system is active.
• Gray MOD icon; the system is not active.
• No MOD icon; the system is off. The indicator
will also be off if all of the warning systems are
deactivated using the Settings menu.
The MOD system will not operate if the trunk is open.

8 AIR RECIRCULATION BUTTON
Press the air recirculation control button 8 to recirculate interior air
inside the vehicle. The indicator light on the button will illuminate. This system is
used to avoid certain outside odors and to adjust the inside vehicle temperature
more effectively.
The air recirculation mode cannot be activated when the climate control s\
ystem is
in the front defroster mode or the front defroster and foot vent mode .
9 DEFROSTING/DEFOGGING FRONT AND SIDE WINDOWS
Press the front defroster button to turn the system on. This feature removes
humidity from the air.
Turn the temperature control dial 1 to set the desired temperature.
To defrost the front and side windows quickly, set the temperature controls and fan
speed controls to their maximum settings.
10 DEFROSTING REAR WINDOW AND OUTSIDE MIRRORS (if so equipped)
Press the rear window and outside mirror (if so equipped) defroster switch to
turn the system on or off.
This function automatically turns off after approximately 15 minutes.

BLUETOOTH® STREAMING AUDIO
If you have a compatible Bluetooth® device with streaming audio (A2DP profile), you
can set up the wireless connection between your Bluetooth® device and your vehicle’s
audio system. This connection allows you to listen to audio from the Bluetooth® device
using your vehicle’s speakers.
A cellular phone should not be used while driving so full attention may \
be given to
vehicle operation.*
1. Touch the Audio key and select the Bluetooth Audio key.
2. A prompt to connect your device will display.
• If the device is already paired:
a. Touch the Select Devices key to play from
an already paired device.
b. Select the desired device and touch the
Connect key 1.
c. The last played audio will start playing once
the device is connected.
• If the device needs to be connected:
a. Touch the Settings key.
b. Touch the Bluetooth key.
c. Touch the Connect Device key.
Touch BT Menu to view track listing, artist, songs or albums.**
Touch BT Settings to change which device is playing audio.
*Some jurisdictions prohibit the use of cellular telephones while drivin\
g.
**Not all cellular phones/devices support this feature.
