Key-Linked Settings (if so equipped)
Some menu items shown below may not be equipped on your vehicle.

Key-Linked Settings Allows user to turn the key-linked settings on or off. This setting is enabled individually by each key. When en-
abled, various settings in the vehicle information display and the driver position (if equipped) will return to the
same settings as the last time the linked key was used. When disabled for a key, no settings will be automati-
cally changed when that key is used. For additional information, see “Memory storage function” (P. 3-36).
Factory Reset
The factory reset menu allows the user to restore the vehicle information display settings to factory status.
Some menu items shown below may not be equipped on your vehicle.

Factory Reset Allows user to reset the vehicle information display setti
ngs to the original factory settings. Once selected,
the user can confirm or cancel the reset.

VEHICLE INFORMATION DISPLAY
WARNINGS AND INDICATORS
The following messages may appear in
your vehicle information display.
Engine start operation for
Intelligent Key system (if
I-Key battery level is low)
This indicator appears when the battery of
the Intelligent Key is low and when the In-
telligent Key system and the vehicle are not
communicating normally.
If this appears, touch the ignition switch
with the Intelligent Key while depressing
the brake pedal. For additional information,
see “NISSAN Intelligent Key® battery dis-
charge” (P. 5-15).
Key ID Incorrect
This warning appears when the ignition
switch is placed from the OFF position and
the Intelligent Key is not recognized by the
system. You cannot start the engine with
an unregistered key.

I-Key System Error: See
Owner’s Manual
Af ter the ignition switch is placed in the ON
position, this warning appears for a period
of time and then turns off.
The Key System Error message warns of a
malfunction with the Intelligent Key sys-
tem. If the warning appears while the en-
gine is stopped, it may be impossible to
start the engine.
If the warning appears while the engine is
running, you can drive the vehicle. However,
in these cases, have the system checked. It
is recommended that you visit a NISSAN
dealer for this service.
Key low battery
This indicator appears when the Intelligent
Key battery is running out of power.
If this indicator appears, replace the bat-
tery with a new one. For additional infor-
mation, see “Battery replacement” (P. 8-25).
No Key Detected
This warning appears when the Intelligent
Key is lef t outside the vehicle with the igni-
tion switch in the ON position. Make sure
the Intelligent Key is inside the vehicle.For additional information, see “NISSAN In-
telligent Key® system” (P. 3-7).
Brightness indicator
This indicator shows the brightness ad-
justment of the instrument panel. For addi-
tional information, see “Instrument bright-
ness control” (P. 2-83).
Caution Steep slope
This warning appears, and a buzzer
sounds when the automatic brake hold
function is activated while the vehicle is on
a steep hill. Depress the brake pedal. For
additional information, see “Automatic
brake hold” (P. 5-25).
Chassis Control System Error See
Owner’s Manual
This warning appears if the chassis control
module detects a malfunction in the chas-
sis control system. Have the system
checked. It is recommended that you visit a
NISSAN dealer for this service. For addi-
tional information, see “Chassis Control”
(P. 5-180).

Check Back Seat For All Articles
When the system is enabled, this message
appears when the vehicle comes to a com-
plete stop, the vehicle is transitioned from
the D (Drive) position to P (Park) position,
and the driver exits the vehicle. This mes-
sage alerts the driver, af ter a period of time,
to check for items in the rear seat af ter the
audible alert has been provided.
NOTE:
This system is disabled until a driver en-
ables it using the vehicle information
display. For additional information, see
“How to use the vehicle information dis-
play ” (P. 2-46).

Rear Door Alert is activated
When the system is enabled, this message
appears when the Rear Door Alert system
is active and can remind the driver to check
the back seat.
• Using the steering wheel switch, a drivercan select “Dismiss Message” to clear the
display for a period of time. If no selection
is made, this message automatically
turns off af ter a period of time. • Using the steering wheel switch, a driver
can select “Disable Alert” to disable the
horn alert for the remainder of the cur-
rent trip.
WARNING
Selecting “Dismiss Message” during a
stop within a trip temporarily dis-
misses the message for that stop with-
out turning the system off. Alerts can
be provided for other stops during the
trip. Selecting “Disable Alert” turns off
the Rear Door Alert system for the re-
mainder of a trip and no audible alert
will be provided.
NOTE:
This system is disabled until a driver en-
ables it using the vehicle information
display. For additional information, see
“How to use the vehicle information dis-
play ” (P. 2-46).

Door/Lif tgate Open
This warning appears when a door or the
lif tgate has been opened.
Drive Mode Selector indicators
When a driving mode is selected using the
Drive Mode Selector, the selected mode in-
dicator is displayed.
• SAND (4WD models)
• MUD/RUT (4WD models)
• SNOW
• AUTO (4WD models)
•ECO
• SPORT
• STANDARD (2WD models)

Headlight System Error: See Owner’s
Manual
This warning appears when there is an er-
ror with the system. For additional informa-
tion, see “Headlight and turn signal switch”
(P. 2-78).

Low Fuel
This warning appears when the fuel level in
the fuel tank is getting low. Refuel as soon
as it is convenient, preferably before the
fuel gauge reaches 0 (Empty).There will be
a small reserve of fuel in the tank when
the fuel gauge needle reaches 0 (Empty).
Low Oil Pressure: See
Owner’s Manual
This warning appears in the message area
of the vehicle information display if low oil
pressure is detected. This gauge is not de-
signed to indicate low oil level. The low oil
pressure warning is not designed to indi-
cate a low oil level. Use the dipstick to
check the oil level. For additional informa-
tion, see “Engine oil” (P. 8-7).
Low Outside Temperature
This warning appears if the outside tem-
perature is below 37°F (3°C). The tempera-
ture can be changed to display in Celsius or
Fahrenheit. For additional information, see
“Driver Assistance” (P. 2-28).
Low Washer Fluid
This warning appears when the windshield-
washer fluid is at a low level. Add windshield-
washer fluid as necessary. For additional
information, see “Windshield-washer fluid”
(P. 8-12).
Parking Sensor Error: See Owner’s
Manual
This warning appears when there is an er-
ror with the system. For additional informa-
tion, see “Front and rear sonar system”
(P. 5-183).
Power will turn off to save the battery
This message appears in the vehicle infor-
mation display af ter a period of time if the
ignition switch is in the ON position and if
the vehicle is in P (Park). For additional infor-
mation, see “Push-button ignition switch
positions” (P. 5-14).
Power turned off to save the battery
This message appears af ter the ignition
switch is automatically turned off. For addi-
tional information, see “Push-button igni-
tion switch positions” (P. 5-14).
Press Brake Pedal
This warning appears in the following situ-
ations:
• The driver tries to release the electronic parking brake manually without depress-
ing the brake pedal.
• The vehicle is stopped on a steep hill and there is a possibility of moving backward,
even if the electronic parking brake is
applied.
• This warning appears if the vehicle moves while the automatic brake hold is
activated.
Press brake to operate
switch
This warning appears if the automatic
brake hold switch is pushed without de-
pressing the brake pedal while the auto-
matic brake hold function is activated. De-
press the brake pedal and push the switch
to deactivate the automatic brake hold
function.

Push brake and start
switch to drive
This indicator appears when the shif t posi-
tion is in the P (Park) position.
This indicator also appears when the ve-
hicle has been started using the Remote
Engine Start (if so equipped) function.
This indicator means that the engine will
start by pushing the ignition switch with
the brake pedal depressed. You can start
the engine from any position of the ignition
switch.
Push ignition to OFF
Af ter the Push ignition to OFF warning ap-
pears, the warning will appear if the ignition
switch is placed in the AUTO ACC position
when the shif t position is moved to the P
(Park) position.
To turn off the Push warning, place the ig-
nition switch in the ON position and then in
the LOCK position.
Rear seat belt reminder
This rear seat belt reminder appears af ter
placing the ignition switch in the ON
position.If any of the rear passenger seat belts are
not fastened, the seat belt icon illuminates
in red to show which seat belt is not fas-
tened. When a rear passenger’s seat belt
has been securely fastened, the color of the
corresponding seat belt icon will change.
The warning will automatically turn off af-
ter approximately 65 seconds.
Af ter the initial reminder is turned off (by 65
second timer or dismissing the warning in
vehicle information display) and the vehicle
speed is less than 10 mph (15 km/h), if any
rear seat belt is unfastened, the rear seat
belt reminder will display. The warning will
automatically turn off af ter approximately
95 seconds.
Af ter the initial reminder is turned off (by 65
second timer or dismissing the warning in
vehicle information display) and the vehicle
speed is greater than 10 mph (15 km/h), if
any rear seat belt is unfastened, the rear
seat belt reminder will display and a warn-
ing chime will sound every two seconds
until the corresponding seat belt is fas-
tened. The chime will automatically turn off
af ter approximately 95 seconds. The rear
seat belt reminder will be displayed until it
is dismissed in the vehicle information
display.
Reminder: Turn OFF
headlights
This warning appears when the headlights
are lef t in the ON position when exiting the
vehicle. Place the headlight switch in the
OFF or AUTO position. For additional infor-
mation, see “Headlight and turn signal
switch” (P. 2-78).
Shipping Mode On Push Storage Fuse
This warning may appear if the extended
storage switch is not pushed in. When this
warning appears, push in the extended
storage switch to turn off the warning. For
additional information, see “Extended stor-
age switch” (P. 2-100).
Steep Slope Apply foot
brake
This warning appears, and sounds buzzer if
the “Caution Steep slope” warning has ap-
peared over about 3 minutes. Then the
parking brake will automatically be applied
and the brake force of the automatic brake
hold will be released, and the vehicle may
move or roll away unexpectedly. Apply the
foot brake to stop the vehicle from moving.

Timer Alert — Have a
break?
This indicator appears when the set time is
reached. The time can be set up to six
hours. For additional information, see
“Driver Assistance” (P. 2-28).
Tire Pressure Low - Add Air
This warning appears when the low tire
pressure warning light in the meter illumi-
nates and low tire pressure is detected. The
warning appears each time the ignition
switch is placed in the ON position as long
as the low tire pressure warning light re-
mains illuminated. If this warning appears,
stop the vehicle and adjust the tire pres-
sures of all four tires to the recommended
COLD tire pressure shown on the Tire and
Loading Information label. For additional
information, see “Low tire pressure warning
light” (P. 2-18) and “Tire Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS)” (P. 5-5).
TPMS Error: See Owner’s Manual
This warning appears when there is an er-
ror with your TPMS. If this warning appears,
have the system checked. It is recom-
mended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for
this service.
Transmission Shif t Position
indicator
This indicator shows the transmission shif t
position.
When parked apply parking
brake
This message appears when a malfunc-
tion occurs in the electric shif t control sys-
tem below 6 mph (10 km/h).
Have the system checked. It is recom-
mended that you visit a NISSAN dealer for
this service.
AWD Error: See Owner’s Manual
This warning appears when the 4-Wheel
Drive (4WD) system is not functioning prop-
erly while the engine is running. Reduce
vehicle speed and have your vehicle
checked by a NISSAN dealer as soon as
possible. For additional information, see
“Intelligent 4x4 (I-4x4)” (P. 5-171).
AWD High Temp. Stop Vehicle
This warning appears when the oil tem-
perature of the powertrain parts will in-
crease due to the difference in rotation be-
tween the front and rear wheels is large
(wheel slip), such as when driving the ve-
hicle on rough roads, through sand or mud,
or freeing a stuck vehicle. If this warning isdisplayed, stop the vehicle with the engine
idling, as soon as it is safe to do so. In these
cases, the 4WD changes to 2WD to protect
the powertrain parts. Then if the warning
turns off, you can continue 4WD driving.
Tire Size Incorrect See Owner’s
Manual
This warning may appear if there is a large
difference between the diameters of the
front and rear wheels. Pull off the road in a
safe area, with the engine idling. Check that
all the tire sizes, brand, construction and
tread patterns are the same, that the tire
pressure is correct and that the tires are
not excessively worn. If you have any prob-
lems, please change tires or adjust to the
correct tire pressure. Do not select the
SNOW or SAND or MUD/RUT (if so equipped)
mode with the Drive Mode Selector and do
not drive fast. For additional information,
see “Intelligent 4x4 (I-4x4)” (P. 5-171).
Automatic Emergency
Braking (AEB) with
Pedestrian Detection
emergency warning
indicator
This indicator appears along, with an au-
dible warning, when the system detects
the possibility of a forward collision.

Blind Spot Warning
(BSW)/Intelligent Blind
Spot Intervention (I-BSI)
indicator
This indicator appears when the BSW or
I-BSI system is unavailable.
For additional information, see “Blind Spot
Warning (BSW)” (P. 5-49) or “Intelligent Blind
Spot Intervention (I-BSI)” (P. 5-62).
Cruise control indicator
This indicator shows the cruise control sys-
tem status.
When cruise control is activated, a green
circle will illuminate to indicate it is set. The
vehicle information display will also display
the speed the cruise control was set at. If
you accelerate past the set speed, the
speed will blink until you either cancel
cruise control or go back to the set speed. If
cruise control is on and canceled, the
speed will be displayed to show the speed
the vehicle will return to if the resume but-
ton is activated.
Currently not available
This message may appear when the Pro-
PILOT Assist system, Intelligent Blind Spot
Intervention (I-BSI) or the Intelligent Lane
Intervention (I-LI) system is engaged.
Under the following conditions, the Pro-
PILOT Assist, Intelligent Blind Spot Interven-
tion (I-BSI) or the Intelligent Lane Interven-
tion (I-LI) system is automatically canceled:
• When the VDC system is turned off
• The SNOW mode or the SAND or MUD/RUT mode is selected (4WD models).
The above system cannot be used in some
situations (VDC operates, wheel slip and
VDC system is off.)
Driver Attention Alert
Malfunction
This warning appears when the Intelligent
Driver Alertness (I-DA) system is not func-
tioning properly. For additional information,
see “Intelligent Driver Alertness (I-DA)”
(P. 5-165).
Driver Attention Alert—
TakeaBreak?
This alert appears when the system has
detected that the driver may be displaying
fatigue or a lack of attention.
Forward Driving Aids temporarily

This message appears when the front ra-
dar sensor may be obstructed due to:
• mud, dirt, snow, ice, etc.
• inclement weather (rain, fog, snow, etc.).
All forward driving aids are temporarily dis-
abled until the system detects that the
front radar sensor is no longer obstructed.

condition(s) occur:
• When not holding the steering wheel

Steering Assist Not Available Cannot
Detect Lane indicator
This indicator may appear when the Steer-
ing Assist system is engaged. The Steering
Assist system is automatically canceled
when the lane markers in the traveling lane
cannot be correctly detected for a period
of time due to such items as a snow rut,
reflection of light on a rainy day or several
unclear lane markers are present.
If you want to use the Steering Assist sys-
tem again, cancel the ProPILOT Assist sys-
tem and set it again when lane markers are
clearly visible.
Steering Assist status
This indicator appears when the Steering
Assist system is engaged.

Unavailable: High Cabin Temperature
This message appears when the camera
detects an interior temperature of more
than 104°F (40°C). For additional informa-
tion, see “ProPILOT Assist” (P. 5-86), “Intelli-

Departure Warning (LDW)” (P. 5-35) or “Intel-
ligent Blind Spot Intervention (I-BSI)”

Unavailable Side Radar Obstruction
This message appears when the Blind
Spot Warning (BSW) or Rear Cross Traffic
Alert (RCTA) systems become unavailable
because a radar blockage is detected. For
additional information, see “Blind Spot
Warning (BSW)” (P. 5-49), “Intelligent Blind
Spot Intervention (I-BSI)” (P. 5-62) or “Rear
Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)” (P. 5-75).

This indicator shows when the following
systems are engaged and have detected a

HOW TO USE THE VEHICLE
INFORMATION DISPLAY
The vehicle information display can be
navigated using the,but-
tons and scroll dial located on the steering
wheel.

select an item in the vehicle information
display. The scroll dial allows up or down
navigation and press to select. 3. Short cut menu button— Press this but-

STARTUP DISPLAY
When the vehicle in placed in the ON posi-
tion the screens that display in the vehicle
information include:
• Active system status (if so equipped)
• Trip computer
• Fuel economy
• Distance to empty
• Tire pressure information
• Intelligent 4x4 (if so equipped)
• Navigation (if so equipped)
• Audio
• Warnings
Warnings will only display if there are any
