children are occupying the rear
seats.
Move the pin in the rear door to the front position. The door cannot be
opened from the inside.
To deactivate, move the pin to the
rear position.
Smartphone remote
function
This feature allows a smartphone to
be connected to the vehicle and
remote vehicle functions to be
requested. Features vary depending
on availability.
Features include: ● Remote commands: Use to lock /
unlock the vehicle, remote start
for the cabin climate, or sound or cancel the horn and flash the
lights.
● Vehicle status: View the vehicle’s
range and high voltage battery
level, charging status, and tyre
pressure.
● Welcome lighting: Request light when approaching the vehicle.
● Location services: Save the parked location or start
navigation at the vehicle’s GPS

Reconfigurable instrument cluster
The cluster layout can be changed.
Use the steering wheel control to
move between the different display
zones and scroll through the different displays.
There are three display
configurations to choose from:
● Basic configuration displays the
speedometer with a simplified
high voltage battery gauge and
efficiency light.
● Standard configuration displays
the speedometer with a high
voltage battery gauge and
efficiency gauge.
● Enhanced configuration displays
the speedometer with high
voltage battery gauge, efficiency
ring, and power gauge.

Service display If it is time for service, a message is
displayed in the Driver Information
Centre.
The first warning is displayed
400 km before service is due and the
second warning 80 km before the
service is due. The message appears every time the vehicle is switched on.
The message can be dismissed or
reset. Reset after service only.

Control indicators
The control indicators described are
not present in all vehicles. The
description applies to all instrument
versions. Depending on the
equipment, the position of the control indicators may vary. When the vehicle
is switched on, most control indicators
will illuminate briefly as a functionality test.

applying the electric parking brake. If

seek the assistance of a workshop.

Electric parking brake is operating
with degraded performance 3 158.
Flashes
Electric parking brake is in service
mode. Stop vehicle, apply and
release the electric parking brake to
reset.9 Warning
Have the cause of the fault
remedied immediately by a
workshop. Avoid parking on
inclines until the cause of the fault has been remedied.
An error message may be displayed
in the Driver Information Centre

Antilock brake system
(ABS)
u illuminates yellow.
Illuminates for a few seconds after the
vehicle is switched on. The system is ready for operation when the control
indicator extinguishes.
If the control indicator does not go out after a few seconds, or if it illuminates
while driving, there is a fault in the

Trip odometer displays the current
distance and the current average
electrical energy economy since a
certain reset.The distance counts up to
99,999.9 km then restarts at 0.
The average electrical energy
economy displays the approximate
average kWh per 100 km (kWh/100
km).
To reset, press and hold 9.
Tyre pressure (kPa)
Checks tyre pressure of all wheels
during driving 3 232.
Average speed
Display of average speed. The
measurement can be reset at any
time.
Timer
To start and stop, press 9. To reset,
press [ and confirm reset.
Traffic sign assistant
Displays the detected traffic signs for
the current route section 3 187.
Following distance
Displays the distance in seconds to a preceding moving vehicle 3 168.

Location based charging in

● Departure Charging : This feature
allows charging during the least
expensive rate periods to
achieve a full battery charge by
the departure time.
● Utility Rate Charging : The vehicle
estimates the charging start time
based on the utility rate schedule,
utility rate preference, and
programmed departure time for
the current day of the week.
● Energy summary pop-up : Set the
energy summary pop-up feature to On or Off.
● Charge status feedback : Set the
charge status feedback feature to Horn chirps or Off.
● Charge power loss alert : This
feature allows an alert to sound
when the vehicle is charging andloses power at the electrical
outlet. Set the charge power loss alert feature to On or Off.
● Radio power down : This allows
high voltage battery power to be
conserved. Set the value for the
reminder to be displayed. To set
high voltage battery charge level
for Radio power down , touch
Energy , then Charging Options ,
then Radio power down . Select
Off , 2% , 4% , 6% , 8% , 10% .Low power mode
This allows high voltage battery power to be conserved.
1. Press and hold m of the
Infotainment system.
2. Touch Yes on the Info Display.
The screen will turn off.
3. Press m again to turn the display
on.Vehicle messages
Messages are indicated in the Driver
Information Centre, in some cases
together with a warning chime.
Press 9 on the steering wheel to
confirm a message.

The vehicle messages are displayed
as text. Follow the instructions given
in the messages.
Some important messages may
appear additionally in the Info
Display. Some messages only pop-
up for a few seconds.

OnStar
OnStar is a personal connectivity and
service assistant with integrated
Wi-Fi hotspot. The OnStar service is
available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Note
OnStar is not available for all
markets. For further information,
contact your workshop.
Note
In order to be available and
operational, OnStar needs a valid
OnStar subscription, functioning
vehicle electrics, mobile service and
GPS satellite link.
To activate the OnStar services and
set up an account, press Z and speak
with an advisor.

battery voltage, press Z to establish
a connection to an advisor.
Emergency services
In the case of an emergency situation,
press [ and talk to an advisor. The
advisor then contacts emergency or
assistance service providers and
directs them to your vehicle.
In the case of an accident with
activation of airbags or belt
tensioners, an automatic emergency
call is established. The advisor is
immediately connected to your
vehicle to see whether help is
needed.
Note
Establishing an emergency call may not be possible in areas withoutsufficient network availability or due
to hardware damage during an
accident.
Wi-Fi hotspot
The Wi-Fi hotspot of the vehicle
provides internet connectivity with a
maximum speed of 4G/LTE.Note
The Wi-Fi hotspot functionality is not
available for all markets.
Note
Some mobile devices connect to Wi- Fi hotspots automatically and use
mobile data capacity in the
background, even if they are not in
use. This includes automatic
updates, downloads, as well as
programme or app synchronisation
traffic. The data volume purchased
via OnStar might be consumed
rapidly. Turn off automatic
synchronisations in the settings of
your device.
Up to seven devices may be connected.
To connect a mobile device with the
Wi-Fi hotspot:
1. Press j and then select Wi-Fi
settings on the Info Display. The
settings displayed include the Wi-
Fi hotspot name (SSID),
password and connection type.
2. Start a Wi-Fi network search on your mobile device.3. Select your vehicle hotspot (SSID) when listed.
4. When prompted, enter the password on your mobile device.
Note
To change the SSID or password,
press Z and talk to an advisor or log
in to your account.
To switch off the Wi-Fi hotspot
functionality, press Z to call an
advisor.
Smartphone app
With the myOpel smartphone app,
some vehicle functions can be
operated remotely.
The following functions are available: ● Lock or unlock vehicle.
● Honk horn or flash lights.
● Operate parking heater.
● Check vehicle battery-related information.
● Check tyre pressure (only with tyre pressure monitoring
system).
