theft locking system is deactivated.
Manual locking
Manually lock the doors, tailgate and
fuel filler flap by inserting and turning the key in the lock cylinder of the
driver's door.
Automatic locking Automatic locking after driving off
This system allows automatic locking of the doors and the tailgate as soon
as the speed of the vehicle exceeds
10 km/h.
If one of the doors or the tailgate is open, the automatic central locking
does not take place. This is signalled
by the sound of the locks rebounding, accompanied by illumination of h in
the instrument cluster, an audible signal and the display of an alert
message.
This function can be activated or
deactivated at any time. With the
ignition on, press Q until an audible
signal starts and a corresponding message is displayed.
The state of the system stays in
memory when switching off the
ignition.
Automatic relock after unlocking
This feature automatically locks all
doors, load compartment and fuel
filler flap a short time after unlocking
with the remote control or electronic
key, provided no door has been
opened.
Child locks9 Warning
Use the child locks whenever
children are occupying the rear
seats.

Dazzle from following vehicles is
automatically reduced, when driving
in the dark.
Child surveillance mirror
A child surveillance mirror allows to
observe the rear seats. The mirror can be adjusted.
Rear view display
The rear view display shows standard
rear view. This view is displayed by
default when a forward gear is
selected.

The horizontal line represents a
distance of about 4 m beyond the
edge of vehicle's rear bumper.
In addition, the following views can be
selected in the rear view display:

Windows
Windscreen
Windscreen stickers
Do not attach stickers such as toll
road stickers or similar on the
windscreen in the area of the interior
mirror. Otherwise the detection zone
of the sensor and the view area of the camera in the mirror housing could be
restricted.
Windscreen replacementCaution
If the vehicle has a front-looking
camera sensor for the driver
assistance systems, it is very
important that any windscreen
replacement is performed
accurately according to Opel
specifications. Otherwise, these
systems may not work properly
and there is a risk of unexpected
behaviour and / or messages from these systems.
Power windows9 Warning
Take care when operating the
power windows. Risk of injury,
particularly to children.
If there are children on the rear seats, switch on the child safety
system for the power windows.
Keep a close watch on the
windows when closing them.
Ensure that nothing becomes
trapped in them as they move.
Switch on ignition to operate power
windows.

Only drive with the head restraint
set to the proper position.
The upper edge of the head restraint
should be at upper head level. If this
is not possible for extremely tall
people, set to highest position, and
set to lowest position for small people.

Pull the head restraint upwards or
press catch and push it downwards.
Removal
Press catch, pull the respective head
restraint upwards and remove.

steering wheel, to permit safe
airbag deployment.

Never store any objects under the
seats.
● Sit with buttocks as far back against the backrest as possible.
Adjust the distance between the
seat and the pedals so that legs
are slightly angled when pressing the pedals. Slide the front
passenger seat as far back as
possible.
● Set seat height high enough to have a clear field of vision on allsides and of all display
instruments. There should be at
least one hand of clearance
between head and the roof
frame. Your thighs should rest
lightly on the seat without
pressing into it.

48Seats, restraints● Sit with shoulders as far backagainst the backrest as possible.
Set the backrest rake so that it is possible to easily reach the
steering wheel with arms slightly
bent. Maintain contact between
shoulders and the backrest when turning the steering wheel. Do
not angle the backrest too far
back. We recommend a
maximum rake of approx. 25°.
● Adjust seat and steering wheel in
a way that the wrist rests on top
of the steering wheel while the
arm is fully extended and
shoulders are on the backrest.
● Adjust the steering wheel 3 90.
● Adjust the head restraint 3 46.
● Adjust the thigh support so that there is a space approx. two
fingers wide between the edge of the seat and the hollow of the
knee.
● Adjust the lumbar support so that
it supports the natural shape ofthe spine.Seat adjustment
Drive only with engaged seats and
backrests.
Longitudinal adjustment
Pull the handle, slide the seat, then
release the handle. Try to move the seat back and forth to ensure that the
seat is locked in place.
Depending on version, pull the lever
of the passenger seat and slide the seat, then release the handle.
Backrest inclination

backrest when adjusting.

Seat folding Depending on version, the front
passenger seat can be folded flat to the table position.
Folding single seat front
passenger side
Slide the front passenger seat as far
back as possible, to avoid contact
with the instrument panel during
folding.
Push head restraints down or remove it before folding backrest 3 46.
Depending on version, remove the
armrest 3 51.
Push lever, fold backrest fully
forwards and release the lever. Then
push the backrest down further until it
is completely flat.
Unfolding single seat front
passenger side
To restore the seat to the upright
position, pull up the backrest as far as
it will go.
Pull release levers and raise backrest
fully then release levers.
