CHANGING A WINDSCREEN WIPER BLADE
Changing a front wiper blade
Lift the wiper arm.
Unclip the blade and remove it.
Fit the new blade.
Push back the wiper arm.
Note: t h e s h o r t e s t b l a d e i s fi t t e d o n
the right-hand wiper arm.
Changing the rear wiper blade
Lift the wiper arm.
Unclip the blade and remove it.
Fit the new blade.
Push back the wiper arm.
ECONOMY MODE FUNCTION
After the engine has stopped, certain
functions (doors, windscreen wipers,
electric windows, courtesy light, audio
equipment, dipped headlamps, etc.)
can only be used for a cumulative
duration of thirty minutes, to prevent
discharging of the battery.
Once the thirty minutes are over, a
message informing you of the switch
to economy mode appears on the
multifunction display and the active
functions are put on standby.
These functions are reactivated auto-
matically next time the vehicle is driven.
To resume the use of these functions
immediately, start the engine and let
it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be
double the duration for which the en-
gine is left running. However, this pe-
r i o d w i l l a l w a y s b e b e t w e e n fi v e a n d
thirty minutes.
Note: if the telephone is being used
when economy mode starts, it will
s t i l l b e p o s s i b l e t o fi n i s h t h e c a l l .
A fl a t b a t t e r y w i l l p r e v e n t t h e
engine from starting.
FITTING/REMOVING THE MAT
When removing the mat on the driv-
er’s side, push the seat as far back
a s p o s s i b l e a n d r e m o v e t h e fi x i n g s .
W h e n r e fi t t i n g , p o s i t i o n t h e m a t c o r -
r e c t l y o n t h e p i n s a n d c l i p t h e fi x i n g s .
Check that the mat is secured cor-
rectly.
To prevent the mat from becoming
caught under the pedals:
- o n l y u s e m a t s s u i t e d t o t h e fi x -ings already present in the ve-
hicle. It is imperative that these
fi x i n g s a r e u s e d .
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n - other.
Placing the wiper blades in the
special position
Less than a minute after switch-
ing off the ignition, operate the
wipers stalk to position the wiper
blades in the centre of the wind-
screen.
To return the windscreen wipers
to their normal position, switch on
the ignition and operate the wip-
ers stalk.

more elements of the Cameleo kit of
your vehicle, due to damage..., you
will be offered replacement elements
from the exchange kits available at
that time.

MULTIMEDIA AUDIO EQUIPMENT/TELEPHONE JUKEBOX FUNCTION (10 GB)/GPS (EUROPE)
The SERVICE BOX internet site provides additional
animated information about the RT4. It can be consu lted at
the following address:
http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com.
Simple registration permits access and free consul tation of
the handbook.
The RT4 GPS audio/telephone is coded in such a
way that it will only operate in your vehicle. If i t is to be
installed in another vehicle, contact a PEUGEOT d ealer
f o r c o n fi g u r a t i o n o f t h e s y s t e m .
For safety reasons, it is imperative that the driv er carries
out operations which require prolonged attention wh ile
the vehicle is stationary.
When the engine is switched off and to prevent
discharging of the battery, the RT4 audio/telephone may

The route chosen by the RT4 GPS audio/telephone depends directly on the guidance options.
Changing these options may completely change the r oute.
Press the MENU button.

During guidance, press the MENU
button.
Turn the dial and select the
NAVIGATION GUIDANCE function.

function.

When the new address has been
entered, select OK and press the dial
t o c o n fi r m . Enter for example a new address.
Select the ADD A STAGE function
( 9 s t a g e s m a x i m u m ) a n d p r e s s t h e

P r e s s t h e d i a l t o c o n fi r m t h e s e l e c t i o n . The stage must be completed or deleted before the
guidance can
continue to the next destination.
Otherwise, the RT4 GPS audio/telephone will always guide you
back to the previous stage.
