airbag
To ensure the safety of your child,
it is essential to
deactivate
the
passenger
airbag
when you install
a "rear-facing" child seat on the
front passenger seat. Otherwise,
the child would risk being seri-
ously injured or killed if the air bag
w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
With the ignition switched off

a i r b a g d e a c t i v a t i o n s w i t c h 1 ,
t u r n i t t o t h e "OFF" p o s i t i o n ,
t h e n r e m o v e t h e k e y k e e p i n g t h e
s w i t c h i n t h i s p o s i t i o n .
In the "OFF" p o s i t i o n , t h e p a s s e n -
g e r a i r b a g w i l l n o t b e t r i g g e r e d i n t h e
e v e n t o f a n i m p a c t .
A s s o o n a s t h e c h i l d s e a t i s r e m o v e d ,
t u r n t h e a i r b a g s w i t c h t o t h e "ON"
p o s i t i o n t o r e - a c t i v a t e t h e a i r b a g a n d
