Low fuel level
Remove the key and unscrew the cap.
A f t e r fi l l i n g t h e f u e l t a n k , s c r e w t h e
cap back on fully to the right until it
c l i c k s a n d c l o s e t h e fl a p .
Fuel tank capacity: approximately
35 litres.
A f t e r o p e n i n g t h e fl a p , i n s e r t t h e k e y ,
turn it slightly to the left then return to
the right. The key returns to its initial
position and the cap is unlocked. OPEN

Your vehicle has been approved in
accordance with the new ISOFIX
regulation.
T h e r e a r s e a t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h r e g u l a -
tion ISOFIX mountings.
These are three rings for each seat:
- t w o l o w e r r i n g s A , l o c a t e d
between the vehicle's seat back
a n d c u s h i o n ,
- a n u p p e r r i n g B , r e f e r r e d t o a s
t h e T O P T E T H E R , l o c a t e d a t
the rear of the seat back at the
bottom. The
ISOFIX child seats a r e fi t t e d
with two locks and/or a strap which
a r e s e c u r e d e a s i l y o n t h e s e r i n g s ,
indicated by labels or a mark on the
rear seat back panel.

WARNING LAMPS AND INDICATORS
Central STOP
warning lamp
T h i s fl a s h e s f o r a f e w
seconds each time the ignition is
switched on. It is linked with the
warnings for:
- "engine oil pressure",
- "coolant temperature".
Stop immediately if this
lamp
comes on with the engine running.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Engine oil pressure
warning lamp
This comes on each time
the ignition is switched on
until the engine is started.
If it comes on linked with the STOP
warning lamp, with the engine run-
ning, this indicates that the oil pres-
sure is too low.
Stop immediately.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Coolant temperature
warning lamp
This comes on for a few sec-
onds each time the ignition is
switched on. Anti-lock braking
system (ABS)
warning lamp
This comes on for a few
seconds each time the ignition is
switched on.
Fixed lighting indicates a malfunction
of the ABS.
However, the vehicle retains conven-
tional braking with servo-assistance.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
Parking brake, low
brake fluid level
and braking system
warning lamp
This comes on each time the ignition
is switched on until the parking brake
is released. Electric power
steering warning lamp
This comes on for a few
seconds each time the igni-
tion is switched on.
Fixed lighting, when the vehicle is
moving, indicates a malfunction of
the electric steering system.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
If this warning lampcomes on, with
the engine running, this indicates
an abnormal increase in the coolant
temperature.
Stop immediately .
Check the coolant level.
To do this, wait until the engine has
cooled before topping up the level.
The cooling system is pressurised.
When checking the level, and
to avoid any risk of scalding,
unscrew the cap 1/4 of a turn
to allow the pressure to drop.
When the pressure has dropped, re-
move the cap.
Then:
1. top up, if necessary
(see "Levels").
2. or, if the level is satisfactory,
contact a PEUGEOT dealer. Fixed lighting, with the engine run-
ning, indicates one of the following:
- that the parking brake is applied
or has not been released fully,
when the vehicle is moving,
- an excessive drop in the brake fl u i d l e v e l ( i f t h e w a r n i n g l a m p
remains on even with the parking
brake released),
- a braking system fault.
Stop immediately.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.

AUDIO EQUIPMENT
GENERAL FUNCTIONS
On/off
With the ignition key
in the accessories po-
sition or with the ignition on, press
this button to switch the audio equip-
ment on or off.
After the engine has been switched
off, the audio equipment can
only operate for approximately
30 minutes, to prevent discharg-
ing of the battery. Press the upper part
of this button several
times in succession to
increase the volume
of the audio equip-
ment or the lower part
of this button to de-
crease it.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT
CLOCK ADJUSTMENT
Press this button sev-
eral times in succes-
sion to gain access
to the bass
(BASS) ,
treble (TREB) , front/rear balance
(FAD) and left/right balance (BAL)
settings.
AUDIO SETTINGS
Press this button for
more than 2 seconds,
the clock display
fl a s h e s :
AUXILIARY SOCKET
An auxiliary socket
"AUX" is provided for
the connection of port-
able equipment (MP3
player, etc.).
When the parameter
is displayed, change
the setting using these
two buttons.
You exit from this mode automati-
cally after a few seconds without any
action. In order to listen to it,
connect your equip-
ment then press this
button.
The audio equipment controls enable
you to adjust the volume and the audio
settings.
To exit from the AUX source, press
AM/FM .
When using an MP3 player: in-
c r e a s e t h e v o l u m e o f t h e r a d i o s i g n i fi -
cantly (between 30 and 60) to obtain
a satisfactory playing volume.
- to adjust the hours, press this button,
- to adjust the minutes, press this button.
You exit from this mode automati-
cally after a few seconds without any
action.

MIRRORS STEERING WHEEL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT (WITH POWER STEERING)
When stationary
, lower the lever to
unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust to the desired height and lift
the lever to lock the steering wheel.

The interior mirror has two positions:
- d a y ( n o r m a l ) ,
- n i g h t ( a n t i - d a z z l e ) .
To change from one to the other,
push or pull the lever on the lower
edge of the mirror.
Exterior mirrors
Move the lever in all four directions to
adjust the mirror.
For safety reasons, these
o p e r a t i o n s m u s t n o t b e c a r -
ried out while driving.

Push control A r e a r w a r d s w h i l e a d -
justing the angle of the seat back.
3. Access to the rear seats (3-door)
Position the seat belt along the door pillar.
Push control A rearwards to fold the seat back and move the seat forwards.
To put the seat back in place, push the seat back until the seat locks.
R e s e t t h e f o r w a r d s - b a c k w a r d s a d -justment of the seat and the seat back angle.

Raise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards.
No person or object must p r e v e n t t h e s e a t f r o m r e t u r -ning to the required position.
