Deactivation warning lamps
I f o n e o f t h e f o l l o w i n g w a r n i n g l a m p s c o m e s o n , t h i s c o n fi r m s t h a t t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g s y s t e m h a s b e e n s w i t c h e d o f f i n t e n t i o n a l l y .
Warning lamp is on Cause Action/Observations
Passenger's
airbag
system fi x e d . The control, located in the
glove box, is set to the
OFF
position.
The passenger's front
airbag is deactivated.
In this case you can install
a "rear facing" child seat. Set the control to the
ON position to activate the
p a s s e n g e r ' s f r o n t a i r b a g . I n t h i s c a s e , d o n o t fi t a
child seat in the rear-facing position.
The passenger's airbag system is put into service
automatically when the vehicle is started ( ON
position).
ESP/ASR fi x e d . The button, located
in the centre of
the dashboard,
is pressed. Its
indicator lamp is on.
The ESP/ASR is
deactivated.
ESP: electronic stability
programme.
ASR: anti-skid regulation. Press the button to activate the ESP/ASR. Its
indicator lamp switches off.
From approximately 30 mph (50 km/h), the
system is reactivated automatically.
The ESP/ASR system is activated automatically
when the vehicle is started.

Warning lamp is on Cause Action/Observations
Airbags temporarily.
This lamp comes on for
a few seconds when you
turn on the ignition, then
switches off. This lamp should switch off when the engine is
started.
If it does not switch off, contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
fi x e d . One of the airbag or seat
belt pretensioner systems
has a fault. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Seat belt not
fastened/
unfastened fi x e d t h e n
fl a s h i n g
accompanied by an
increasing
audible signal. The driver and/or the front
passenger has not fastened
or has unfastened their seat
belt.
Pull the strap then insert the tongue in the
buckle.
Power
steering fi x e d . The power steering has a
fault. Drive carefully at reduced speed.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Water in
Diesel fi x e d . T h e d i e s e l fi l t e r c o n t a i n s
water. Risk of damage to the injection system on Diesel
engines.
Contact a PEUGEOT dealer without delay.
Directional
headlamps fl a s h i n g . The directional headlamps
system is faulty. Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Punctured
wheel fi x e d . One or more wheels are
punctured or seriously
d e fl a t e d . Stop immediately avoiding any sharp action on
the steering wheel or the brakes.
Repair or change the damaged wheel and have
the pressure of the tyres checked as soon as
possible.

Controls Main menu
There are three display control buttons:
- "ESC" to abandon the operation in
progress,
- "MENU" to scroll through the menus
or sub-menus,
- "OK" to select the menu or sub-
menu required.
Press the "MENU" button to scroll
through the various menus of the
main menu :
- v e h i c l e c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- options,
- display settings,
- language,
- units.
Press the "OK" button to select the
menu required.
* With air conditioning only.

- radio-CD,

- options,
- display settings,
- language,
- units.
Press the "OK" button to select the

menu has been selected you can acti-

C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

CD" application, refer to the Peugeot
Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.

dio (RDS, REG, RadioText) or the CD
( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

Once this menu has been selected, you
can activate or deactivate the following
equipment:
- directional headlamps (refer to the
"Visibility" section),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section).
- rear parking sensors (refer to the "Driving" section). "Telephone" menu
With the Peugeot Connect Sound
switched on, once this menu has been
s e l e c t e d y o u c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r B l u e -
tooth hands-free system (pairing), con-
sult the various telephone directories
(calls log, services...) and manage your
communications (pick up, hang up, call
waiting, secret mode...).
For further details concerning the "Tele-
phone" application, refer to the Peugeot
Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.
D i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n
Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following set-
tings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- selection of the units.
Choice of language
Once this menu has been selected,
you can change the language used by
the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol,
Français, Italiano, Nederlands,
Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe ** ).
Example: setting of the duration of the
"guide-me-home" lighting
"Personalisation-Configuration"

Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following func-
tions:

Press the " " or " " buttons, then
the "OK" button to select the menu

the value required (15, 30 or 60 sec-
onds), then press the "OK" button
