MONOCHROME SCREEN A (WITHOUT
PEUGEOT CONNECT SOUND)
Controls Main menu
There are three display control buttons:
- "ESC" to abandon the operation in
progress,
- "MENU" to scroll through the menus
or sub-menus,
- "OK" to select the menu or sub-
menu required.
Press the "MENU" button to scroll
through the various menus of the
main menu :
- v e h i c l e c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- options,
- display settings,
- language,
- units.
Press the "OK" button to select the
menu required.
* With air conditioning only.

switched on, once the "Radio-CD"
menu has been selected you can acti-
vate or deactivate the functions linked
with use of the radio (RDS, REG) or the
C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.

tionary.
Display settings
Once the "Display settings" menu has
been selected, you can gain access to
the following settings:
- year,
- month,
- day,
- hour,
- minutes,
- 12 or 24 hour mode.
Language
Once the "Language" menu has been
selected, you can change the language
used by the display (Français, Italiano,
Nederlands, Portugues, Portugues-Brasil,
Deutsch, English, Espanol).
Units
Once the "Units" menu has been selected,
you can change the units of the following
parameters:
- temperature (°C or °F),
- fuel consumption (l/100 km, mpg or
km/l).
Once you have selected a setting,
press the " " or " " buttons to
change its value.
Press the " " or " " buttons to
switch respectively to the previous
or next setting.
Press the "OK" button to record
the change and return to the normal
display or press the "ESC" button to
cancel.

Options
Once the "Options" menu has been select-
ed, you can start diagnostics of the status of
the equipment (active, not active, faulty).
O n c e t h e " V e h i c l e C o n fi g u r a t i o n " m e n u
has been selected, you can activate or
deactivate the following equipment:
- directional headlamps (refer to the
"Visibility" section),
- "guide-me-home" lighting (refer to the "Visibility" section).

dio (RDS, REG, RadioText) or the CD
( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

From your Peugeot Connect Sound
control panel, you can:

Once this menu has been selected, you
can activate or deactivate the following

With the Peugeot Connect Sound
switched on, once this menu has been
s e l e c t e d y o u c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r B l u e -
tooth hands-free system (pairing), con-
sult the various telephone directories
(calls log, services...) and manage your
communications (pick up, hang up, call
waiting, secret mode...).
For further details concerning the "Tele-
phone" application, refer to the Peugeot
Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.
D i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n
Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following set-
tings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- selection of the units.
Choice of language
Once this menu has been selected,
you can change the language used by
the display (Deutsch, English, Espanol,
Français, Italiano, Nederlands,
Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe ** ).
Example: setting of the duration of the
"guide-me-home" lighting

Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following func-
tions:

Lost keys
Visit a PEUGEOT dealer with the vehicle's V5 registration document and your
p e r s o n a l i d e n t i fi c a t i o n d o c u m e n t s .
The PEUGEOT dealer will be able to retrieve the ke y code and the transponder
code required to order a replacement key. Do not throw the remote control bat-
teries away, they contain metals which
are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collection
point.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not o perate it
while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it ma y unlock the vehicle,
without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and
out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it from working and the
remote control would have to be reinitialised.
The remote control does not operate when the key is in the ignition, even
when the ignition is switched off, except for reinitialisat ion.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compart -
m e n t b y t h e e m e r g e n c y s e r v i c e s m o r e d i f fi c u l t i n a n e m e r g e n c y .
As a safety precaution (with children on board), r emove the key from the ignition
when you leave the vehicle, even for a short time.
Anti-theft protection
D o n o t m a k e a n y m o d i fi c a t i o n s t o t h e e l e c t r o n i c e n g i n e i m m o b i l i s e r s y s t e m ;
this could cause malfunctions.
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle
Have the key codes memorised by a PEUGEOT dealer, to ensure that the
keys in your possession are the only ones which can start the vehicle .

DRIVING
When the cruise control is switched
on, be careful if you maintain the
pressure on one of the programmed
speed changing buttons: this may
result in a very rapid change in the
speed of your vehicle.
Do not use the cruise control on
s l i p p e r y r o a d s o r i n h e a v y t r a f fi c .
On a steep descent, the cruise
control will not be able to prevent
t h e v e h i c l e f r o m e x c e e d i n g t h e p r o -
grammed speed.
T o a v o i d a n y r i s k o f j a m m i n g o f t h e
pedals:
- ensure that the mat is posi-tioned correctly,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n - other.
Programming
Turn dial 1 to the "CRUISE" po-
sition: the cruise control mode is
selected but is not switched on
( O F F ) .
Exceeding the programmed speed
I n t e n t i o n a l o r u n i n t e n t i o n a l e x c e e d i n g o f t h e p r o g r a m m e d
s p e e d r e s u l t s i n fl a s h i n g o f t h i s s p e e d o n t h e s c r e e n .
Return to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or
unintentional deceleration of the vehicle, automatically ca n-
c e l s t h e fl a s h i n g o f t h e s p e e d .
Return to normal driving
Turn dial 1 to the "0" position: the cruise control mode is
deselected. The display returns to the distance rec order. Operating fault
In the event of a cruise control mal-
function, the speed is cleared result-
i n g i n fl a s h i n g o f t h e d a s h e s . C o n t a c t a
PEUGEOT dealer to have the system
checked.
Set the programmed speed by ac-
celerating to the required speed,
then press button 2 or 3 (e.g.:
7 0 m p h ( 1 1 0 k m / h ) ) .
Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4 : the
d i s p l a y c o n fi r m s t h a t i t h a s b e e n s w i t c h e d o f f ( O F F ) .
Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4
again.
You can then change the programmed speed using but
tons 2
and 3 :
- b y + o r - 1 m p h ( k m / h ) = s h o r t p r e s s ,
- b y + o r - 5 m p h ( k m / h ) = l o n g p r e s s ,
- i n s t e p s o f + o r - 5 m p h ( k m / h ) = m a i n t a i n e d p r e s s .
