WIPER CONTROL STALK
System for the selection and control of
the various windscreen wiping modes
permitting the dispersal of rain and
cleaning.
The vehicle's windscreen wipers are
designed to gradually improve the driv-
er's visibility in relation to the weather
conditions. Manual controls
The wiping commands are made directly
by the driver using stalk

Windscreen wipers
A. wiping speed selection control: Windscreen and headlamp
wash
Pull the windscreen wiper stalk to-
wards you.
The headlamp wash is only activate if
the dipped headlamps are on .
With daytime running lamps, to
activate the headlamp wash, posi-
tion the lighting stalk in the dipped
beam position.
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d i g i t a l a i r
conditioning, any action on the
windscreen wash control results in
temporary closing of the air intake
to avoid odours inside the passen-
ger compartment.
Automatic wiping is not available
on the 207CC at present.

Special position of the windscreen
wipers
In the minute following switching off of
the ignition, any action on the stalk po-
sitions the wipers vertically on the wind-
screen.
This action enables you to position the
wiper blades for winter parking.
To park the wipers after this has been
done, switch on the ignition and operate

B. Map reading lamps In this position, the courtesy
lamp comes on gradually:

With the ignition on, press the cor-
responding switch. With the "permanent lighting" mode,
the duration of lighting varies, de-
pending on the circumstances:
- with the ignition off, approxi-
mately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, ap- proximately thirty seconds,
-
with the engine running, unlimi-ted.
- when the vehicle is unlocked,
- when the key is removed from the ignition,
- when a door is opened,
- when the remote control locking but- ton is activated, in order to locate
your vehicle.
It switches off gradually:
- when the vehicle is locked,
- when the ignition is switched on,
- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.
Permanently off.

If a roof operation is in progress,
it will be completed, but no further
operation is possible.
ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the duration of
use of certain functions to conserve a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o f c h a r g e i n t h e b a t t e r y .
After the engine has stopped, you can
still use functions such as the audio
equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
beam headlamps, courtesy lamp, etc.
f o r a m a x i m u m c o m b i n e d d u r a t i o n o f
thirty minutes.
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated auto-
m a t i c a l l y n e x t t i m e t h e v e h i c l e i s d r i v e n .
In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, start the
engine and let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be
double the duration for which the engine
is left running. However, this period will al-
w a y s b e b e t w e e n fi v e a n d t h i r t y m i n u t e s .
Switching to economy mode
Once the thirty minutes are over, a
message appears on the multifunction
screen indicating that the vehicle has
switched to economy mode and the ac-
tive functions are put on standby.
CHANGING A WIPER BLADE
Procedure for replacing a worn wiper
blade with a new one without the use
of tools.
Removing a front wiper blade
Raise the corresponding wiper arm.
Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting a front wiper blade
Check the size of the wiper blade

right-hand side of the vehicle.
Put the corresponding new wiper
blade in place and clip it.
Fold down the wiper arm carefully.
LOAD REDUCTION MODE
System which manages the use of cer-
tain functions according to the level of
charge remaining in the battery.
When the vehicle is being driven, the load
reduction function temporarily deactivates
certain functions, such as the air condi-
tioning, the heated rear screen...
The deactivated functions are reactivat-
ed automatically as soon as conditions
permit.
