Panel which groups together the vehicle
operation dials and indicator lamps.

Resets the selected function to zero (trip distance recorder or
service indicator).
7. Instrument panel lighting button.
Adjusts the brightness of the light- ing of the instruments and controls.
8. Automatic gearbox.
Indicates the programme selected and the gear engaged.
Dials
1. Rev counter.
Indicates the speed of rotation of the engine (x 1 000 rpm).
2. Fuel gauge.
Indicates the quantity of fuel re- maining in the tank.
3. Coolant temperature.
Indicates the temperature of the engine coolant (°Celsius).
4. Speedometer.
Indicates the current speed of the moving vehicle (mph or km/h).

Displays on the screen
This displays the following information:
- time,
- date,
- a m b i e n t t e m p e r a t u r e * ( t h i s fl a s h e s i f there is a risk of ice),
- status of the openings (doors, boot...),
- audio sources (radio, CD...),
- trip computer (refer to the end of the section).
Warning messages (e.g.: "Emission
control system faulty") or information
messages (e.g.: "Boot open") may ap-
pear temporarily. These can be cleared
by pressing the "ESC" button. Main menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu , then
press the " " or " " buttons to
scroll through the various menus:
- radio-CD,
- v e h i c l e c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- options,
- display settings,
- language,
- units.
Press the "OK" button to select the
menu required.
From your PEUGEOT Connect Sound
control panel, you can:
press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the main menu,
press the " " or " " buttons to scroll
through the items on the screen,
press the "MODE" button to change
the permanent application (trip com-
puter, audio source...),
press the " " or " " buttons to
change a setting value,
press the "OK" b u t t o n t o c o n fi r m ,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the operation in progress. Radio-CD
With the Peugeot Connect Sound
switched on, once the "Radio-CD"
menu has been selected you can acti-
vate or deactivate the functions linked
with use of the radio (RDS, REG) or the
C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e , C D r e p e a t ) .

Connect Sound part of the "Audio and
Telematics" section.

This displays the following information:

This displays the following information
automatically and directly:
- time,
- date,
- altitude,
- ambient temperature (the value dis- p l a y e d fl a s h e s i f t h e r e i s a r i s k o f i c e ) ,
- openings check,
- warning and vehicle function status messages, displayed temporarily,
- audio functions,
- trip computer information,
- satellite navigation system informa- tion. Controls
From the Peugeot Connect Navigation
control panel, to select one of the ap-
plications:
press the dedicated "RADIO" ,
"MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" ,
"SETUP" or "PHONE" button for
access to the corresponding menu,
turn the navigator to move the se-
lection,
p r e s s t h e n a v i g a t o r t o c o n fi r m t h e
selection,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
the previous display. For more information on these ap-
plications, refer to the "Audio and
Telematics" section or to the spe-

LIGHTING CONTROL STALK
System for selection and control of the
various front and rear lamps providing
the vehicle's lighting. Manual controls
The lighting commands are made di-
rectly by the driver by means of ring
A
and stalk B .
A. main lighting mode selection ring,
with:
Model without AUTO lighting
Model with AUTO lighting lighting off,
sidelamps only,
dipped or main beam
headlamps,
B. lstalk for inversion of the beam by
pulling:
dipped/main beam headlamps. automatic illumination of
headlamps.
Displays
The corresponding indicator lamp
comes on on the instrument panel to
c o n fi r m t h e s w i t c h i n g o n o f t h e l i g h t i n g
selected.
Main lighting
The vehicle's various front and rear
lamps are designed to adapt the driv-
er's visibility gradually in relation to the
climatic conditions:
- sidelamps, to be seen,
- dipped beam headlamps to see
without dazzling other drivers,
- main beam headlamps for good visi- bility when the road is clear.
Additional lighting
Other lamps are installed to respond to
particular driving conditions:
- rear foglamps to be seen from a dis- tance,
- front foglamps for even better visibi- lity,
- directional headlamps for improved visibility around corners.
Programmes
Various automatic lighting control
modes are also available according to
the following options:
- "guide-me-home" lighting,
- automatic illumination of headlamps,
- static directional lighting. In the lighting off and sidelamps modes,
the driver can switch on the main beam

by pulling and holding the stalk.

Model with front and rear foglamps front and rear foglamps
C. foglamps selection ring.
These operate with the dipped and main
beam headlamps.
To switch on the foglamps, turn ring
C forwards.
To switch off the rear foglamps, turn
ring C rearwards twice in succession.
When the lighting is switched off auto-
m a t i c a l l y ( o n A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n t h e
dipped beam headlamps are switched
off manually, the foglamps and the side-
lamps will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch
off the foglamps, the sidelamps will
then switch off.
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamps
when they are no longer neces-
sary. In normal light levels, the
power of their beams may dazzle
other drivers. Lighting on reminder
The triggering of an audible signal
when a door is opened warns the
driver that they have forgotten to
switch off the vehicle's lighting, with
the ignition off.
In this case, switching off the light-
ing will stop the audible signal.
When the ignition is switched off,
if the dipped beam headlamps re-
main on, they will be switched off
automatically after thirty minutes to
prevent discharging of the battery. This indicator lamp comes on
on the instrument panel.

Daytime running lamps *
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e r u n n i n g
lamps, the dipped beam headlamps
come on when the vehicle is started.
The instruments and controls (multi-
function screen, air conditioning control
p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t l i t , u n l e s s t h e a u t o -
matic lighting mode is activated or the
lighting is switched on manually.

STATIC DIRECTIONAL LIGHTING
When the dipped or main beam headlam-
ps are on, this function enables the beam
to light the inside of the turn with an addi-
tional angle of approximately 30°.
The use of this lighting is optimum above
all at low and average speed (city driv-
i n g , w i n d i n g r o a d s , . . . ) .

Switching on
The system is switched on from a cer-
tain speed and a certain angle of rota-
tion of the steering wheel.
Operating fault The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
This function is activated
by default.
In the event of a malfunction,
t h i s w a r n i n g l a m p fl a s h e s o n
the instrument panel, accom-
panied by a message on the
multifunction screen.
Have it checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
The initial setting is position "0" .
To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the headlamps
should be adjusted in relation to the
load in the vehicle.
0. 1 or 2 people in the front seats.
-. 3 people.
1. 4 people.
2. 4 people + maximum authorised
load.
3. Driver + maximum authorised load.
Switching off
The system is switched off below a
certain angle of rotation of the steering
wheel.
It is switched off when reverse gear is
engaged.
