ACCESS
Emergency control
System which locks or unlocks the
doors mechanically in the event of a
malfunction of the central locking.
Insert the key in the lock, located on
the edge of the door, then turn it one
eighth of a turn.
Locking the driver's door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the right.
Unlocking the driver's door
Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the left.

Pull the interior door opening control.

Tailgate release
System for mechanical unlocking of the
boot in the event of a central locking
malfunction.
Unlocking
Fold back the rear seats to gain
access to the lock from inside the
boot.
Insert a small screwdriver into hole A of the lock to unlock the tailgate.
Opening
After unlocking the vehicle using the
remote control or the key, pull the
handle and raise the tailgate.

Closing
If the tailgate is not closed correctly:

the rear screen closed, pull on the
handle A and raise the tailgate.

Closing
Lower the tailgate using the interior
grab handle.
If the tailgate is not closed correctly:
REAR SCREEN (SW)
Opening
After unlocking the vehicle using
the remote control or the key, with
the boot closed, press the control B
and raise the rear screen using the
base C of the wiper arm.
The boot and the rear screen can-
not both be open at the same time. Closing
Close the rear screen by pressing at
the centre of the glass.
If the rear screen is not closed correctly:
- when the engine is running, this warning light comes on, accompanied by a message on the multifunction display for a few seconds,
- when the vehicle is moving (speed
above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning
light comes on, accompanied by an

BOOT (SW)
If the rear screen is open, the central
locking does not take place.

CHANGING A WHEEL *
Procedure for changing a faulty wheel
for the spare wheel using the tools pro-
vided with the vehicle.
The tools are installed in the boot under
t h e fl o o r .
T o g a i n a c c e s s t o t h e m :
open the boot,
r a i s e t h e fl o o r ,
s e c u r e i t b y h o o k i n g t h e c o r d ( s ) o n
t h e h o o k ( s ) o n t h e r e a r s h e l f s u p p o r t ,
r e m o v e t h e b o x c o n t a i n i n g t h e
tools.

1. Wheelbrace.
Permits removal of the wheel trim a n d r e m o v a l o f t h e w h e e l fi x i n g
bolts.
2. Jack with integral handle.
Permits raising of the vehicle.
3. "Bolt cover" tool.
Permits removal of the bolt pro- t e c t o r s ( c o v e r s ) o n a l l o y w h e e l s .
4. Socket for the anti-theft bolts (locat-
e d i n t h e g l o v e b o x ) .
Permits adaptation of the wheel- brace to the special "anti-theft"
bolts.
5. Removable towing eye.
Refer to the paragraph "Towing
the vehicle".
Other accessories
Wheel with trim
When removing the wheel , de-
t a c h t h e t r i m fi r s t u s i n g t h e w h e e l -
brace 1 pulling at the valve passage
hole.
W h e n r e fi t t i n g t h e w h e e l , r e fi t t h e
trim starting by placing its notch
facing the valve and press around
its edge with the palm of your
hand.
A l l o f t h e s e t o o l s a r e s p e c i fi c t o y o u r
vehicle. Do not use them for other
purposes.

Access to the spare wheel
(Saloon)
The spare wheel is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
To gain access to it, refer to the paragraph
"Access to the tools" on the previous
page. Fixing the steel spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l -
loy wheels, it is normal to notice,
w h e n t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g ,
that the washers do not come into
contact with the steel spare wheel.
The wheel is secured by the coni-
cal contact of each bolt. Taking out the wheel
Unscrew the yellow central bolt.
Raise the spare wheel towards you
from the rear.
Take the wheel out of the boot.
Putting the wheel back in place
Put the wheel back in its housing.
Unscrew the yellow central bolt by a
few turns then put it in place in the
centre of the wheel.
Tighten fully until the central bolt
clicks to retain the wheel correctly.

Access to the spare wheel (SW)
The spare wheel is installed in the boot

To gain access to it, refer to the para-

TOWING THE VEHICLE
Procedure for having your vehicle towed or for towing another vehicle using a removable towing eye.
Access to the tools Towing your vehicle
On the front bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towbar.
Switch on the hazard warning lights on the towed vehicle.
On the rear bumper, unclip the cover by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towbar.
Switch on the hazard warning lights on the towed vehicle.
Towing another vehicle
The towing eye is installed in the boot u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
T o g a i n a c c e s s t o i t :
open the boot,
r a i s e t h e fl o o r ,
secure it by hooking its cord on the hook on the shelf support,
remove the towing eye from the holder.
