Monitoring
Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on in the instrument panel and/or instrument panel screen, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.

Main beam headlamps fixed. The lighting stalk is pulled towards you. Pull the stalk to return to dipped beam headlamps.
Front foglamps fixed. The front foglamps are switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards twice to switch off the front foglamps.
Rear foglamp fixed. The rear foglamp is switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards to switch off the rear foglamp.

Warning / indicator lampStateCauseAction / Observations
Foot on the clutch * fixed. In the STOP mode of Stop & Start, changing to START mode is refused because the clutch pedal is not fully down.
You must declutch fully to allow the change to engine START mode.
Stop & Star t fixed. When the vehicle stops (red lights, traffic jams, ...) the Stop & Start system has put the engine into STOP mode.
The warning lamp goes off and the engine restarts automatically in START mode, as soon as you want to move off.
flashes for a few seconds, then goes off.
STOP mode is temporarily unavailable. or START mode is invoked automatically.

Automatic wiping fixed. The wiper control is pushed downwards. Automatic front wiping is activated. To deactivate automatic wiping, operate the control stalk downwards or put the stalk into another position.

Gauges and indicators
With the engine running, when the needle is: - in zone A , the temperature is correct, - in zone B , the temperature is too high; the maximum temperature and the central STOP warning lamps come on, accompanied by an audible signal and a warning message in the screen. You MUST stop as soon as it is safe to do so. Wait a few minutes before switching off the engine. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop.
After driving for a few minutes, the temperature and pressure in the cooling system increase. To top up the level:  wait for the engine to cool,  unscrew the cap slightly to allow the pressure to drop,  when the pressure has dropped, remove the cap,  top up the level to the "MA X" mark.
Be aware of the risk of burns when topping up the cooling system. Do not fill above the maximum level (indicated on the header tank).

Lighting dimmer control
System for the manual adjustment of the brightness of the instrument panel and the touch screen to suit the ambient light level.
Two buttons
With the headlamps on, press button B to increase the brightness of the instruments and controls and the interior mood lighting or button A to reduce it. As soon as the lighting reaches the required level of brightness, release the button.
One button
Activation press the button to adjust the brightness of the instruments and controls,  release the button when the desired level is attained.
Touch screen
 Press MENU to display the "MAIN MENU"then select "Preferences" .  Select "System Configuration" then "Brightness" .  Press "Turn off screen" . The screen goes off completely. Press the screen again (anywhere on the sur face) to activate it. Switching off When the vehicle lighting is off or in day mode (daytime running lamps on), pressing the button has no effect.

Selective unlocking
 To unlock the driver's door only press the open padlock once.
Using the remote control
Complete unlocking is activated by default. This is set via the configuration menu.
Unlocking is confirmed by rapid flashing of the direction indicators for approximately two seconds. According to version, the door mirrors unfold at the same time as the first unlocking action.
 To unlock the other doors and the boot, press the open padlock again .
Locking is confirmed by fixed lighting of the direction indicators for approximately two seconds. According to version, the door mirrors fold at the same time.
Driving with the doors locked could make access to the cabin by the emergency services more difficult in the event of an emergency. As a safety measure (children on board), never leave the vehicle without taking your key, even for a short period.

 Press the closed padlock to lock the vehicle completely.
Using the key
 Turn the key towards the rear of the vehicle to lock the vehicle completely.
Maintaining the locking action (key or remote control) automatically closes the windows.

Access
Electronic engine immobiliser
The key contains an electronic chip which has a special code. When the ignition is switched
on, this code must be recognised in order for starting to be possible. This electronic engine immobiliser locks the engine management system a few minutes after the ignition is switched off and prevents starting of the engine by anyone who does not have the key.
 Press the closed padlock to locate your locked vehicle in a car park.
Locating your vehicle
This is indicated by lighting of the courtesy
lamps and flashing of the direction indicators for a few seconds.
Guide-me-home
lighting
Make a long press this button to operate the guide-me-home lighting (switching on the sidelamps, dipped beams and number plate lamps).
A second press before the end of the timed period cancels the guide-me-home lighting.
Anti-theft protection
In the event of a fault, you are informed by illumination of this warning lamp, an audible signal and a message in the screen. In this case, your vehicle will not start; contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
Keep safely, away from your vehicle, the label attached to the keys given to you on acquisition of the vehicle.

For mechanically locking and unlocking the doors in the event of a fault with the central locking system or a battery failure.
Driver's door
Insert the key in the lock to lock or unlock the d o o r.
Passenger doors
 On the rear doors, check that the child lock is not on.  Remove the black cap located on the edge of the door, using the key.  Insert the key into the aperture without
forcing, then without turning, move the latch sideways towards the inside of the door.  Remove the key and refit the cap.
Changing the battery
Battery ref.: CR1620 / 3 volts.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metals which are harmful to the environment. Take them to an approved collection point.
Remote control problem
Reinitialisation
 Switch off the ignition.  Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition) .  Press the closed padlock immediately for a few seconds.  Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch. The remote control is fully operational again.
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery, replacement of the remote control battery or in the event of a remote control malfunction, you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your vehicle.  First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock or lock your vehicle.  Then, reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a PEUGEOT dealer as soon as possible.
If the battery is flat, you are informed by lighting of this warning lamp in the instrument panel, an audible signal and a message in the screen.  Unclip the cover using a screwdriver in the cutout.  Remove the cover.  Extract the flat battery from its location.
 Place the new battery into its location observing the original direction.  Clip the cover in place.

Access
Panoramic sunroof System which comprises configurable light guides and a panoramic tinted glass area to increase the light and visibility in the passenger compartment. It is fitted with a manual blind in two parts to maintain a comfortable temperature.
 Take the blind by its handle and push it rear wards to the required position.
Closing Opening
 Take the blind by its handle and pull it for wards to the required position.

Comfort
If the mirrors are folded using control A , they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on control A .
The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can be deactivated by a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified workshop. Fold the mirrors when putting your vehicle through an automatic car wash.
Folding
- Automatic: lock the vehicle using the remote control or the key. - Manual: with the ignition on, pull control Arearwards.
Unfolding
- Automatic: unlock the vehicle using the remote control or the key. - Manual: with the ignition on, pull control Arearwards.
Automatic day/night model
By means of a sensor, which measures the light from the rear of the vehicle, this system
automatically and progressively changes between the day and night uses.
Adjustable mirror providing a central rearward view. Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which darkens the mirror glass and reduces the nuisance to the driver caused by the sun, headlamps from other vehicles...

Manual day/night model
Adjustment
 Adjust the mirror so that the glass is directed correctly in the "day" position.
Day / night position
 Pull the lever to change to the "night" anti-dazzle position.  Push the lever to change to the normal "day" position. In order to ensure optimum visibility during your manoeuvres, the mirror lightens automatically when reverse gear is engaged.
As a safety measure, the mirrors should be adjusted to reduce the "blind spot".
If necessary, it is possible to fold the mirrors manually.

Comfort
Temperature adjustment
 Turn the dial from blue (cold) to red (hot) to adjust the temperature to your requirements.
The air conditioning system only operates with the engine running.
Air fl ow adjustment
 Turn the dial from position 1to position 6 to obtain a comfortable air flow.
If you put the air flow control in position 0 (system off), the temperature is no longer controlled. However, a slight flow of air can still be felt, resulting from the movement of the vehicle.
