Rear parcel shelf To fold it:
unhook the two cords,
fold it concertina-style to the rear
seats.
To remove it:
fold the rear parcel shelf as de-
scribed above,
u n c l i p t h e fi x i n g s o n t h e l e f t a n d o n
the right by pushing gently,
place your hands as shown on the
illustration then pull the assembly
towards you, To store it at the bottom of the boot:
remove the rear parcel shelf as de-
scribed above,
p l a c e t h e fl o o r a t a n a n g l e ,
place the rear parcel shelf in its lo-
cation (recess marked A ), at bottom
of the boot,
the rear parcel shelf will be protect-
e d i f y o u p l a c e t h e fl o o r i n t h e i n t e r -
mediate position.
This consists of three sections which
can be folded back on each other.
To put it back in place:
take hold of the rear parcel shelf
with both hands then place it on its
support,
unfold it to the boot pillars,
hook the two cords,
if necessary, press on the top of the
rear parcel shelf, on the left and on
t h e r i g h t , t o e n g a g e t h e fi x i n g s .

When changing a wheel
The hooks permit easy access
to the spare wheel by retain-
ing the boot carpet by means of the
two cords.
The hooks permit the securing of
shopping bags.
Hooks
In order to connect a 12 V accessory
(max power: 120 Watts), remove
the cap and connect the appropriate
adaptor.
Turn the key to the ignition position.

Hooked onto the stowing rings on the
m o v a b l e b o o t fl o o r , t h i s e n a b l e s y o u t o
secure your luggage.
Observe the loads indicated on the side
of the boot, in accordance with the posi-
t i o n o f t h e m o v a b l e fl o o r .
For safety reasons in case of sharp
braking, we recommend that heavy ob-
j e c t s a r e p l a c e d o n t h e fl o o r a s c l o s e a s
possible to the back of the rear seats.

Adjustable boot floor
T h i s t h r e e p o s i t i o n fl o o r a l l o w s y o u t o o p t i -mise the volume of the boot by means
of the guides placed on the sides:
- H i g h p o s i t i o n ( 5 0 k g m a x ) : t h e fl o o r is level with the closed lower tail-
gate.
You can load objects while keeping an area protected and isolated.
- Intermediate position (100 kg max): t h e fl o o r i s l e v e l w i t h t h e o p e n l o w e r
tailgate.
Y o u o b t a i n a fl a t fl o o r t o t h e f r o n t seats when the rear seats are in the
retracted position.
- Low position (150 kg max): maxi- mum boot volume. T o p l a c e a n d s u p p o r t t h e fl o o r a t a n a n g l e :
From the high position, raise the
fl o o r t o w a r d s t h e l o a d s p a c e c o v e r .
Do not hesitate to pass the two re-
t r a c t a b l e s t o p s t h e n p l a c e t h e fl o o r
back on these two stops.

P u s h t h e fl o o r f u l l y f o r w a r d s t h e n , w i t h
the help of the support stops A , move

PEUGEOT recommends that
children should travel in the
rear seats of your vehicle:
- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2,
-
"forwards-facing" over the age of 2.
GENERAL POINTS RELATING TO CHILD SEATS
"Forwards-facing"
When a "forwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the front passenger seat ,
adjust the vehicle's seat to the interme-
diate longitudinal position with the seat
back upright and leave the passenger
airbag activated.
Intermediate longitudinal position

"Rearwards-facing"
When a "rearwards-facing" child seat is
installed on the
front passenger seat ,
it is essential that the passenger airbag
is deactivated. Otherwise, the child
would risk being seriously injured or
k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
Although one of PEUGEOT's main cri-
teria when designing your vehicle, the
safety of your children also depends on
you.
For maximum safety, please observe
the following recommendations:
- in accordance with European reg-
ulations, all children under the
age of 12 or less than one and a
half metres tall must travel in ap-
proved child seats suited to their
weight , o n s e a t s fi t t e d w i t h a s e a t
belt or ISOFIX mountings * ,
- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for carrying children
are the rear seats,
-
a child weighing less than 9 kg must
travel in the "rearwards-facing" posi-
tion both in the front and in the rear.
