SOLUTION RESPONSE
The stored stations do n o t f u n c t i o n ( n o s o u n d , 87.5 Mhz is displayed...)
An incorrect waveband is selected.
The quality of reception of the radio station l i s t e n e d t o g r a d u a l l y deteriorates or the stored stations do n o t f u n c t i o n ( n o sound, 87.5 Mhz is displayed...).
Activate the "RDS" function by means of the short-cut menu to enable the system to check whether there is a more powerful transmitter in t h e g e o g r a p h i c a l a r e a .
Press RADIO, select "Radio" Menu then "Waveband" to return to the waveband on which the stations are stored.
The vehicle is too far from the transmitter used by the station listened to or t h e r e i s n o t r a n s m i t t e r i n t h e g e o g r a p h i c a l a r e a t h r o u g h w h i c h t h e v e h i c l e i s t r a v e l l i n g .

Sound cut-outs of 1 to 2 seconds in radio mode.
D u r i n g t h i s b r i e f s o u n d c u t - o u t , t h e R D S s e a r c h e s f o r a n y f r e q u e n c y p e r m i t t i n g b e t t e r r e c e p t i o n o f t h e s t a t i o n . Deactivate the "RDS" function by means of the short-cut menu if the phenomenon is too frequent and always on the same route.
W i t h t h e e n g i n e o f f , t h e system switches off after a few minutes of use.
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s s w i t c h e d o f f , t h e s y s t e m ' s o p e r a t i n g t i m e d e p e n d s o n t h e b a t t e r y c h a r g e . The switch-off is normal: the system switches to economy mode and s w i t c h e s o f f t o p r e v e n t d i s c h a r g i n g o f t h e v e h i c l e ' s b a t t e r y .
S t a r t t h e v e h i c l e ' s e n g i n e t o i n c r e a s e t h e b a t t e r y c h a r g e .
This phenomenon is normal and does not indicate a failure of the audio equipment.

D o e s t h e e m e r g e n c y c a l l function work without a S I M c a r d ?
N o , E u r o p e a n r e g u l a t i o n s i m p o s e t h e p r e s e n c e o f a S I M c a r d i n o r d e r t o m a k e a n e m e r g e n c y c a l l . Insert a valid SIM card in the slot.
The altitude is not displayed. O n s t a r t i n g , t h e i n i t i a l i s a t i o n o f t h e G P S m a y t a k e u p t o 3 m i n u t e s t o receive more than 4 satellites correctly. Wait until the system has started up completely. C h e c k t h a t t h e r e i s a G P S c o v e r a g e o f a t l e a s t 4 s a t e l l i t e s ( l o n g p r e s s o n t h e S E T U P b u t t o n , t h e n s e l e c t " G P S c o v e r a g e " ) .

The route calculation is not successful. T h e r e i s a l o n g w a i t i n g p e r i o d f o l l o w i n g t h e insertion of a CD.
When a new medium is inserted, the system reads a certain amount of d a t a ( d i r e c t o r y , t i t l e , a r t i s t , e t c . ) . T h i s m a y t a k e a f e w s e c o n d s . This phenomenon is normal.
I cannot connect my Bluetooth telephone. The telephone's Bluetooth function may be switched off or the equipment may not be visible. - Check that your telephone's Bluetooth function is switched on. - Check that your telephone is visible.
QUESTION RESPONSE
The Bluetooth telephone is not compatible with the system. A list of compatible Bluetooth mobile telephones is available from the dealer network.
The system does not play the DVD. T h e r e g i o n p r o t e c t i o n m a y n o t b e c o m p a t i b l e . I n s e r t D V D s w h i c h h a v e c o m p a t i b l e r e g i o n protection.

The CD is copy-protected. It is normal that a protected CD cannot be copied.
The system does not receive SMS. T h e B l u e t o o t h m o d e d o e s n o t p e r m i t s e n d i n g o f t h e S M S t o t h e s y s t e m . Use your SIM card and the internal telephone.
The SIM card used is a twin card. U s e t h e o r i g i n a l S I M c a r d t o r e c e i v e t h e S M S .

QUESTION SOLUTION RESPONSE
The voice frequencies ( D T M F ) a r e n o t active when I am c o m m u n i c a t i n g a n d I press numbers on the keypad.
The numeric buttons on the keypad are only active for calls if the display is in telephone mode. To activate them, press the MODE button until the telephone is displayed on the screen.
An accident area which does not concern me is displayed on the screen.
T h e a c c i d e n t a r e a s a r e d i s p l a y e d n e a r a p o i n t d e fi n e d o n t h e m a p a n d i n relation to a direction of travel. T h e a l e r t m a y b e t r i g g e r e d w h e n t r a v e l l i n g u n d e r a road or near a road which has a speed camera.
