Fastening the seat belts
P u l l t h e s t r a p , t h e n i n s e r t t h e
buckle into the stalk.
Check that the seat belt is
f a s t e n e d b y p u l l i n g t h e s t r a p .
Unfastening the seat belts
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d
o n , t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s
on if the driver has not fas-
tened his seat belt.
With the engine running and the
d o o r s c l o s e d , t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t g o e s
off automatically after 30 seconds.
I f t h e s e a t b e l t i s u n f a s t e n e d :
- b e l o w 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) , t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n
c o n s t a n t l y ,
- a b o v e 1 2 m p h ( 2 0 k m / h ) a n d f o r t w o m i n u t e s , t h e w a r n i n g
l i g h t l a s h e s a c c o m p a n i e d b y
an audible signal of increasing
v o l u m e . O n c e t h e s e t w o m i n u t e s
h a v e e l a p s e d , t h e w a r n i n g
light remains on until the driver
fastens his seat belt.
