T h i s c r u i s e c o n t r o l , o f t h e n e w g e n -
e r a t i o n , i s l i n k e d w i t h t h e s p e e d l i m -
i t e r . I t h a s a d i s p l a y o n t h e i n s t r u m e n t
p a n e l t o i n d i c a t e t h e m e m o r i s e d r e f -
e r e n c e s p e e d .
It enables the vehicle to maintain a
s t e a d y s p e e d p r o g r a m m e d b y t h e
driver.
In order for it to be memorised or ac-
t i v a t e d , t h e v e h i c l e s p e e d m u s t b e
g r e a t e r t h a n 2 5 m p h ( 4 0 k m / h ) w i t h
at least fourth gear engaged for vehi-
c l e s i t t e d w i t h a m a n u a l g e a r b o x .

g e a r b o x , t h e l e v e r m u s t b e i n p o s i -

the system checked. When changing the memorised
r e f e r e n c e s p e e d b y m e a n s o f a
m a i n t a i n e d p r e s s , p a y a t t e n t i o n
a s t h e s p e e d c a n i n c r e a s e o r
d e c r e a s e r a p i d l y .
Do not use the cruise control on
s l i p p e r y r o a d s o r i n h e a v y t r a f -
i c .
I n t h e e v e n t o f a s t e e p s l o p e ,

vent the vehicle from exceeding
t h e p r o g r a m m e d s p e e d .
