a n d t h e t r a n s p a r e n t p i p e a r e l o c a t e d
u n d e r t h e b o n n e t ( s e e c o r r e s p o n d i n g
d r a w i n g ) :
1.6 litre HDI 16V engine
- i l l t h e f u e l t a n k w i t h a t l e a s t i v e
litres of diesel,
- u n c l i p t h e s t y l e c o v e r t o a c c e s s t h e r e p r i m i n g p u m p ,
- s q u e e z e a n d r e l e a s e t h e m a n u a l r e p r i m i n g p u m p u n t i l f u e l a p p e a r s
i n t h e t r a n s p a r e n t p i p e w i t h t h e
green connector,
- o p e r a t e t h e s t a r t e r u n t i l t h e e n - gine starts.

to hold the bonnet

Before closing the
b o n n e t , r e p l a c e t h e
strut in its housing.
To close
L o w e r t h e b o n n e t a n d r e l e a s e i t a t
the end of its travel.
C h e c k t h a t t h e b o n n e t i s p r o p e r l y l o c k e d .
