VISIBILITY
AMBIENT LIGHTING
Different lighting times are avail-
able:
- when the ignition is off, approxi-mately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, ap- proximately thirty seconds,
- when the engine is running, no limit.
Y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h t w o b o o t l i g h t s ;
one in the left-hand boot side trim and a
second in the tailgate interior trim.
They come on automatically when the
boot is opened and switch off automati-
cally when the boot is closed.
They cannot be deactivated manually.
INTERIOR WELCOME LIGHTING BOOT LIGHTING
The remote switching on of the passenger
compartment lighting makes your approach
to the vehicle easier in poor light when in
automatic switching on of the lights mode.
Switching on
Press the open padlock on the re-
mote control.
The front and rear door sill lighting, the
footwell lighting and the courtesy lights
come on; your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The interior welcome lighting switches off
automatically after a set time or when
one of the doors is opened.
Programming
The dimmed passenger compartment
lighting improves visibility in the vehicle
when the light is poor.
Switching on
At night, the footwell lighting and the
front courtesy light ambient lamp
A
come on automatically when the side
lights are switched on.
Switching off
The ambient lighting switches off au-
tomatically when the side lights are
switched off.
Programming
The duration of the welcome light-
ing is associated with and identical to
that of the automatic follow-me-home
lighting.
The function is activated or
deactivated via the multi-
f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u r a -
tion menu.
This function is activated
by default. The duration of maintaining
of the lighting is selected
via the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .

Hooked onto the stowing rings, this en-
ables you to secure your luggage.
Luggage retaining net
Raise the boot carpet to gain access
to the storage box.
Hook the boot carpet on the boot
seal using its handle.
This has areas for storing the windstop
and two warning triangles.
By removing this box you gain access
to the puncture repair kit and the tools.

When the boot screen is unfolded,
check that the luggage:
- never raises it,
- is never placed on top of it.
The load space cover must always
be unfolded before a roof opening
manoeuvre is triggered (refer to the
"Familiarisation - § Opening" section).

CHANGING A WHEEL
Procedure for changing a faulty wheel
for the spare wheel using the tools pro-

When removing the wheel , detach

W h e n r e fi t t i n g t h e w h e e l , r e fi t t h e
trim starting by placing its notch
f a c i n g t h e v a l v e a n d p r e s s a r o u n d
its edge with the palm of your
h a n d .

Permits adaptation of the wheel- brace to the special "anti-theft"
b o l t s .

Fixing the steel spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels, it is normal to notice, when
t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g , t h a t
the washers do not come into con-
t a c t w i t h t h e s t e e l s p a r e w h e e l . T h e
wheel is secured by the conical
c o n t a c t o f e a c h b o l t .
Access to the spare wheel
The spare wheel is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
A c c o r d i n g t o c o u n t r y , t h e s p a r e w h e e l
m a y b e s t e e l o r a l l o y .
To gain access to it, refer to the paragraph
" A c c e s s t o t h e t o o l s " o n t h e p r e v i o u s
p a g e .
Taking out the wheel
U n s c r e w t h e y e l l o w c e n t r a l b o l t .
Raise the spare wheel towards you
f r o m t h e r e a r .
T a k e t h e w h e e l o u t o f t h e b o o t .
Putting the wheel back in place
P u t t h e w h e e l b a c k i n i t s h o u s i n g .
Unscrew the yellow central bolt by a
few turns then put it in place in the
c e n t r e o f t h e w h e e l .
Tighten fully until the central bolt
c l i c k s t o r e t a i n t h e w h e e l c o r r e c t l y .
Put the box back in place in the centre
o f t h e w h e e l a n d c l i p i t .

secure it by hooking its handle on
the boot seal,
r e m o v e t h e t o w i n g e y e f r o m t h e
h o l d e r . When towing with all four wheels on
t h e g r o u n d , a l w a y s u s e a t o w b a r .
When towing with only two wheels
on the ground, always use profes-
s i o n a l l i f t i n g e q u i p m e n t .
When towing with the engine off,
there is no longer any braking or
s t e e r i n g a s s i s t a n c e .
