Insert the key in the lock, located on
the edge of the door, then turn it one

Insert the key in the lock, then turn it
to the left.

Unlocking and partially opening
the boot
BOOT Boot anti-theft protection
The boot is designed to remain impregna-
b l e , e v e n i n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n , i f
the vehicle is locked.
So, when the vehicle is locked and
the roof is open, the boot cannot be
unlocked:
- by means of the interior door opening control,
- by pressing the manual centralised control A , when the key is not in the
ignition switch.
Opening
After unlocking the boot or the vehi-
cle using the remote control or the
key, press the opening control while
raising the tailgate.
When the selective unlocking is acti-
vated, the boot can be opened at the
second press of the unlocking button
on the remote control.
Press this button for more
than two seconds to un-
lock the boot. The boot
opens slightly.
This action also unlocks the doors.
If a battery failure occurs, the boot
is locked. Consult a PEUGEOT
dealer. Closing
Lower the tailgate using the interior
grab handle.
If the tailgate is not closed correctly: -
when the engine is running ,
this warning light comes on,
accompanied by a message
on the multifunction display
for a few seconds,
- when the vehicle is moving (speed
above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning
light comes on, accompanied by an
audible signal and a message on
the multifunction display for a few
seconds.

Daytime lights
System which permits automatic switching
on of the special lights at the front, so that
you can be seen during the daytime.
* According to country.
O n v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h d a y t i m e l i g h t s ,
the corresponding lights come on when
the vehicle is started * .
The instruments and controls (instru-
ment panel, multifunction display, air
c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e n o t
lit, except on switching to the automatic
switching on of the lights mode or when
the lights are switched on manually.
Programming
In countries in which this
function is not imposed by
regulations, you can acti-
vate or deactivate it via the
multifunction display con-
fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
In countries in which it is imposed by
regulations:
- by default, this function is activated,
- the side lights and the number plate lights are also switched on.
front and rear fog lamps
To switch on the fog lamps, turn the
ring C forwards.
To switch off the rear fog lamp, turn
the ring C rearwards twice in suc-
cession.
When the lights are switched off auto-
m a t i c a l l y ( w i t h A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n
the dipped headlamps are switched off
manually, the fog lamps and the side
lights will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch
off the fog lamps, the side lights will
then switch off. In good or rainy weather, both day
and night, the front fog lamps and
the rear fog lamp are prohibited. In
these situations, the power of their
beams may dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front
fog lamps and the rear fog lamp
when they are no longer necessary.
Lights on buzzer
The triggering of an audible signal
when a front door is opened warns
the driver that he has forgotten to
switch off his vehicle's lights, with
the ignition off and in manual lights
mode.
In this case, switching off the lights
stops the audible signal.
With the ignition off, if the dipped
headlamps remain on, they will
switch off automatically after thirty
minutes to prevent discharging of
the battery.

The fog lamps operate with the dipped
and main beam headlamps.

AMBIENT LIGHTING
Different lighting times are available:
- when the ignition is off, approxi-mately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,
- when the engine is running, no limit.
Y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h t w o b o o t l i g h t s ;
one in the left-hand boot side trim and a
second in the tailgate interior trim.
They come on automatically when the
boot is opened and switch off automati-
cally when the boot is closed.
They cannot be deactivated manually.
INTERIOR WELCOME LIGHTING BOOT LIGHTING
The remote switching on of the passen-
ger compartment lighting makes your
approach to the vehicle easier in poor
light when in automatic switching on of
the lights mode.
Switching on
Press the open padlock on the remote
control.
The front door sill lighting, the footwell
lighting and the courtesy lights come
on; your vehicle is also unlocked.
Switching off
The interior welcome lighting switches
off automatically after a set time or when
one of the doors is opened.
Programming
The dimmed passenger compartment
lighting improves visibility in the vehicle
when the light is poor.
Switching on
At night, the footwell lighting and the
front courtesy light ambient lamp

come on automatically when the side
lights are switched on.

The ambient lighting switches off au-
tomatically when the side lights are
switched off.

GLOVE BOX WITH LOCK AND AIR CONDITIONING
This has areas for storing a bottle of
water, the vehicle's handbook pack, ...
Its lid has areas for storing a pen, a pair
of spectacles, tokens, cards, a can...
It is also locked or unlocked when the
vehicle is locked or unlocked using the
remote control or the key.
To open the glove box, raise the handle.
The light comes on when the lid is opened.
I f t h e v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g ,
it provides access to the air vent A , which
can be opened or closed, distributing the
same conditioned air as the vents in the
passenger compartment.
SUN VISOR
Component which protects against sunlight
from the front or the side, also equipped with
an illuminated courtesy mirror.
With the ignition on, raise the concealing
fl a p ; t h e m i r r o r i s l i t a u t o m a t i c a l l y .
This sun visor is also equipped with a
ticket holder.
BAG HOOK
Press the lower part of the hook to
unfold it.
Hang the strap of your bag on the
hook to secure it.

STORAGE BOX
Storage area, located at the rear of the
front armrest, for the rear passengers.
To empty the box, after opening,
press the tab and remove it.
To avoid any risk of jamming of the
pedals:
- only use mats which are suited t o t h e fi x i n g s a l r e a d y p r e s e n t i n
t h e v e h i c l e ; i t i s i m p e r a t i v e t h a t
these are used,
- n e v e r fi t o n e m a t o n t o p o f a n - other.
MATS
Removable component which protects
the carpet against exterior dirt. Refitting

position the mat correctly,
r e fi t t h e fi x i n g s b y p r e s s i n g ,
check that the mat is secured cor-
rectly.
Fitting
W h e n fi t t i n g t h e m a t f o r t h e fi r s t t i m e ,
o n t h e d r i v e r ' s s i d e , u s e o n l y t h e fi x i n g s
provided in the wallet attached.
The other mats are simply placed on
the carpet. Removal
To remove the mat on the driver's side:
move the seat as far back as pos-
sible,
u n c l i p t h e fi x i n g s ,
remove the mat.
12 V ACCESSORIES SOCKET
To connect a 12 V accessory (max
power: 120 Watts), remove the cover
and connect a suitable adaptor.
ASHTRAY WITH LIGHT
Pull the drawer to gain access to the
ashtray.
To empty the ashtray, after opening,
press the tab and remove the ashtray.
