drive system Flashing When the "2WD" (2 wheel drive) mode is selected using
the transmission mode selector.
4WD four wheel
drive system Flashing When the "4WD" (4 wheel drive) mode is selected using
the transmission mode selector.
This mode is the default mode.
4WD LOCK four
wheel drive system Flashing When the "LOCK" (4 wheel drive) mode is selected using
the transmission mode selector.
Ambient
temperature Fixed This indicates the ambient temperature.
When the vehicle is stationary or if the speed is below 12 mp
h
(20 km/h) the temperature displayed may not be the true
temperature.

- setting menu. This displays the distance
and the number of months
remaining before the
next service in line with
with the manufacturer's
servicing schedule (refer
to the "Service indicator"
section).
Service indicator
When the engine is
r u n n i n g , t h i s i n d i c a t e s
the temperature of the
coolant (refer to the
"Coolant temperature
indicator" section).
Coolant temperature When the engine is
r u n n i n g , t h i s i n d i c a t e s
the number of miles
(kilometres) which can
still be travelled with the
fuel remaining in the tank
based on the average
fuel consumption over
the last few miles (kilometres) travelled
(refer to the "Range" section).
Range
This indicates the average
f u e l c o n s u m p t i o n , t h e
average speed and the
current fuel consumption
(refer to the "Trip
computer" section).
Trip computer
When the vehicle is
s t a t i o n a r y , t h i s a l l o w s
the user to change the
following settings (refer
to the "Setting menu"
section):
- t h e d i s p l a y l a n g u a g e ,
- the temperature dis- p l a y u n i t s ,
- t h e f u e l c o n s u m p t i o n u n i t s ,
- the option to reset the average fuel consumption and the average
s p e e d ,
- the break (rest) reminder display interval.

DISTANCE RECORDERS (A/B)
System for measuring the total distance
travelled by the vehicle during its service
life and the distance travelled in a day
or other period until it is reset to zero by
the driver.
Zero reset
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n o n , p r e s s t h e INFO
button for more than 2 seconds until
zeros appear. When the engine is
r u n n i n g , t h i s i n d i c a t e s
the temperature of the
coolant.
COOLANT TEMPERATURE
If the bar is close to the
critical position
l o c a t e d o n t h e r i g h t , t h e t e m p e r a t u r e i s
too high.

is overheating.

unscrew the cap by two turns to
allow the pressure to drop.
W h e n t h e p r e s s u r e h a s d r o p p e d ,
remove the cap and top up the
l e v e l , i f n e c e s s a r y .
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer. T h i s fi g u r e m a y i n c r e a s e
following a change in the style
o f d r i v i n g o r t h e r e l i e f , r e s u l t i n g
in a reduction in the current fuel
consumption.
I f y o u o n l y a d d a f e w l i t r e s , t h e
value displayed will be incorrect.
T h e r e f o r e , y o u m u s t fi l l t h e t a n k
whenever possible.
W h e n y o u d i s c o n n e c t t h e b a t t e r y ,
the previous fuel consumption
data is lost and the value
displayed will be different from
that displayed before the battery
was disconnected. The distance
displayed must be considered
an approximate indication.

SERVICE INDICATOR SERVICE INDICATOR Resetting the service indicator
to zero
Your PEUGEOT dealer carries out this
operation after each service.
If you have carried out your vehicle's
s e r v i c e y o u r s e l f , t h e z e r o r e s e t
procedure is the following:
switch off the ignition.
press the INFO button several times
in succession until the service indi-
cator is displayed.
press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds until the spanner
fl a s h e s .
press the INFO button while the
s p a n n e r i s fl a s h i n g t o c h a n g e t h e
display "---" to "CLEAR" then the
time remaining before the next ser-
vice is due is displayed.
Service overdue
Operation
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , y o u
must press the INFO button several
times in succession until the service
indicator is displayed. The distance
recorder display line indicates the
number of miles (kilometres) remaining
and the time elapsed line indicates the
number of months remaining before the
next service is due.
After a certain distance and a
c e r t a i n t i m e , t h e d i s p l a y o f "---" is
reinitialised and the display indicates
the time remaining before the next
service is due.
System which informs the driver when
the next service is due in accordance
with the manufacturer's servicing
schedule.
The point at which the next service is
due is calculated from the last service
indicator zero reset.
It is determined by two parameters:
- t h e d i s t a n c e t r a v e l l e d ( i n m i l e s ( k m ) ) ,
- the time elapsed since the last ser- vice (in months).
The distance remaining to be travelled
m a y b e w e i g h t e d b y t h e t i m e f a c t o r ,
depending on the user's driving habits.
Example: the display indicates that
7 300 miles (kilometres) remain before
the next service is due.
The symbol "--" remains
d i s p l a y e d u n t i l t h e fi r s t s e r v i c e o f
a new vehicle has been carried
out.
Example: the display indicates that the
service is overdue. This service must
be carried out by a PEUGEOT dealer.

ACCESS
Keys
Make a careful note of the number of each key. This number is coded on the label attached to the key.
If the keys are lost, a PEUGEOT dealer can supply you with new keys.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, t hey contain metals which are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collection point.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not o
perate it while it is in your pocket as there is a
possibility that it may unlock the vehicle, without you being aware of it.
Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the
risk of stopping it from working.
The remote control does not operate when the key is in the ignition, even when the ignition is switched off.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compart ment by the emergency services more
d i f fi c u l t i n a n e m e r g e n c y .
As a safety precaution (with children on board), r emove the key from the ignition when you leave the vehicle, even for a short time.
Anti-theft protection
D o n o t m a k e a n y m o d i fi c a t i o n s t o t h e e l e c t r o n i c e n g i n e i m m o b i l i s e r s y s t e m , t h i s c o u l d c a u s e m a l f u n c t i o n s .
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle

which can start the vehicle.
