SEARCH FOR A "PTY" BROADCAST
Pr
ess the "PTY" button.
Turn the "TUNE" dial to select the t
ype
of programme required.
Two seconds later, the radio searches
for a broadcast which corres
ponds
to your selection; the type of PTY selected fl ashes in the screen.
Once the station has been found, its
name appears in the screen.
You can press the "
SEEK " or
"SEEK
" buttons to fi nd another station.
I
f no station is found corresponding to your selected type of
programme, "NONE" appears in the screen for fi ve seconds and the
radio returns to the previous station.T
urn the "TUNE" dial to set the PTY
programme to be stored.
Pr
ess one of the six buttons "1" to "6" for more than
two seconds.
The sound cuts out then becomes audible a
gain
when the programme has been stored.
Th
e number of the button and the associated PTY programme appear in the screen.
To recall the preset memor
y setting, press the button and releaseit within two seconds. PRESETTING A "PTY" PROGRAMME
You can preset up to six PTY programmes.
Each new pro
gramme stored replaces the previous one.

CHANGING THE DISPLAY LANGUAGE OFTHE "PTY" PROGRAMME
Press the "TUNE" button
for more than
two seconds to access the functions setting mode.
Then,
press this button several times
in succession; the functions setting
mode changes in the following order:
AF
/ CT / REG / TP-S / PTY (languages) / SCV / PHONE / OFF.
Turn the "TUNE" dial to the le
ft or
to the right to select the language(ENGLISH, FRANCAIS, DEUTSCH,SVENSK, ESPAGNOL, ITALIANO). FUNCTIONS SETTING MODE
This
permits activation or deactivationof the functions below.
Press the "T
UNE" button for more than
two seconds to access the functionssetting mode.
Then, press this button several times
in succession; the
functions setting
mode changes in the following order:
AF
/ CT / REG / TO-S / PTY (languages) / SCV / PHONE / OFF.
Turn the "TUNE" dial respectivelyto the left to deactivate the function("OFF") or to the right to activate it("ON").
The "PH
ONE" is not operational at present.
The
functions setting mode is deactivated after approximately10 seconds without any action.

This can play audio CDs (CD-DA, CD-Text, CD-R/RW)or MP3 CDs.
EJECTING A DISC

SELECTING CD MODE
I
f the player already contains a disc,
press the "CD" button.
"
CD", the track number and the
playing time appear in the screen.
Insert circular compact discs only.
8 cm compact discs must be inserted in the centre o
f the playerslot.
After inserting a disc, printed face upwards, the player starts
automatically.
Pr
ess this button to remove the
disc from the player. The system
automatically switches to radio mode.
Once ejected, if the compact disc is not removed within fi fteen seconds, it is reloaded into the player.

® TELEPHONE®
The telephone ring is sent to the speaker by the front passenger'sseat.
I
f an audio source (CD, radio, ...) is in operation when the call isreceived, it is placed on MUTE and only the incoming call is heard.
When the i
gnition switch is in the ACC or ON position, the audiosystem is activated automatically if an incoming call is received, even if it was originally off.
At the end o
f the call, the audio system returns to its previous state.
