The sill lighting is at the bottom of each
door trim.
The lights come on automatically
w h e n a d o o r i s o p e n e d a n d s w i t c h o f f
a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n a l l o f t h e d o o r s a r e
closed.
Boot light
The boot light is located in the right-
hand boot trim.
I t c o m e s o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y w h e n t h e
b o o t i s o p e n e d a n d s w i t c h e s o f f a u t o -
m a t i c a l l y w h e n t h e b o o t i s c l o s e d .

the doors.
It gradually goes off after the ignition

R e m o v e t h e b u l b h o l d e r t u r n i n g i t a
quarter of a turn.
C h a n g e t h e f a u l t y b u l b .
W h e n r e fi t t i n g , e n s u r e t h a t t h e b u l b i s
p o s i t i o n e d c o r r e c t l y i n t h e b u l b h o l d e r .
U n c l i p t h e l i g h t ( 2 c l i p s ) .
Disconnect the connector and re-
m o v e t h e l i g h t .
U n c l i p t h e b u l b h o l d e r m o v i n g
aside the 4 tabs.

To start the vehicle from another

To charge the battery using a bat-
tery charger (boot open):

N e v e r c h a r g e a b a t t e r y w i t h o u t fi r s t
disconnecting the terminals.
O p e n t h e w i n d o w s a n d c l o s e t h e s u n -
roof before disconnecting the battery.
I f t h e y d o n o t o p e r a t e n o r m a l l y f o l l o w -
ing reconnection of the battery, they
m u s t b e r e i n i t i a l i s e d ( s e e p a r a g r a p h s

A f t e r e v e r y r e c o n n e c t i o n o f t h e b a t -
t e r y , s w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n a n d w a i t
1 m i n u t e b e f o r e s t a r t i n g t o a l l o w t h e
electronic systems to be initialised.
H o w e v e r , i f s l i g h t d i f fi c u l t i e s a r e e x -
p e r i e n c e d a f t e r t h i s , p l e a s e c o n t a c t a
PEUGEOT dealer.
On the 2.7 litre 24V HDI engine, if there
is no battery in the boot, do not con-
nect a slave battery to the positive (+)
and negative (-) terminals under the
bonnet as a short circuit may occur.
The batteries contain harmful
s u b s t a n c e s s u c h a s s u l p h u -
ric acid and lead. They must
b e d i s p o s e d o f i n a c c o r d a n c e
w i t h r e g u l a t i o n s a n d m u s t n e v e r b e
d i s c a r d e d w i t h h o u s e h o l d w a s t e .
