For even air distribution, take care
not to obstruct the exterior air intake
grille located at the bottom of the wind-
screen, the vents, the air outlets under
the front seats and the air extractor lo-
c a t e d b e h i n d t h e fl a p s i n t h e b o o t .
I n c e r t a i n c a s e s o f p a r t i c u l a r l y a r d u o u s
use (towing the maximum load on a
s t e e p g r a d i e n t i n h o t w e a t h e r ) , c u t t i n g

contain chlorine and is not harmful to

O p e r a t e t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s y s t e m f o r
5 to 10 minutes, once or twice a month,
t o k e e p i t i n p e r f e c t w o r k i n g o r d e r .

Use of the automatic regulation of

I t p e r m i t s a u t o m a t i c a n d o p t i m i s e d
control of all of the following functions:
a i r fl o w , p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t
t e m p e r a t u r e a n d a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n ,
b y m e a n s o f v a r i o u s s e n s o r s , s o
p r e v e n t i n g t h e n e e d f o r y o u t o c h a n g e
y o u r r e f e r e n c e s e t t i n g s o t h e r t h a n t h e
v a l u e d i s p l a y e d .
Air diffuser
The air diffuser grille, located at the
t o p o f t h e c e n t r e c o n s o l e , s i g n i fi c a n t l y
i m p r o v e s d i s t r i b u t i o n a n d fl o w s a n d
p r e v e n t s a i r c u r r e n t s , w h i l e m a i n t a i n -
i n g a n o p t i m u m t e m p e r a t u r e i n s i d e t h e
p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t .
Do not cover the sunshine sensor

It is required for regulation of the air
c o n d i t i o n i n g .
Advice on operation
To obtain even ventilation,
avoid closing the air diffuser
grille 9 .
In hot weather, in order to obtain intense
v e n t i l a t i o n , y o u c a n c l o s e t h e a i r d i f f u s e r
grille and use vents 1 and 5 o n l y .
I f , w h e n t h e v e h i c l e h a s b e e n p a r k e d
in the sun for a long time, the interior
t e m p e r a t u r e r e m a i n s v e r y h i g h , d o n o t
h e s i t a t e t o v e n t i l a t e t h e p a s s e n g e r
c o m p a r t m e n t f o r a f e w m i n u t e s .

CHANGING A FUSE
The fuse boxes are placed in the lower
part of the fascia (passenger side in
the glove box) and in the engine com-
partment (left-hand side). Fascia fuses
To access the fuses, open the glove box. Open the fuse box co
ver by pressing the
two tabs at the top.
Replacing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, the cause of
the incident must be found and recti-
fi e d . T h e f u s e n u m b e r s a r e i n d i c a t e d
on the fuse box. Always replace a faulty fuse
with a fuse of the same rating
(same colour).
Use the special pliers located
on the support next to the fuse box,
this support also contains the replace-
ment fuses.

Engine compartment fuses
To access the fuses located in the
engine compartment (next to the bat-
tery), remove the battery cover and
unclip the fuse box cover.
Close the fuse box cover carefully and
