c o n t r o l m a l f u n c t i o n , t h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l
must be reinitialised

Press the remote control locking but-
t o n i m m e d i a t e l y f o r a f e w s e c o n d s.
S w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n a n d r e m o v e
the remote control key from the
ignition lock.
T h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l i s n o w w o r k i n g
again.

IMMOBILISER
This locks the engine control system
a f e w m o m e n t s a f t e r t h e i g n i t i o n h a s
b e e n s w i t c h e d o f f a n d t h e r e f o r e p r e -
v e n t s s t a r t i n g o f t h e v e h i c l e b y a n y o n e
w h o d o e s n o t h a v e t h e k e y .
T h e i g n i t i o n k e y h a s a n e l e c t r o n i c c h i p
w h i c h h a s a s p e c i a l c o d e . W h e n t h e
i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , t h e c o d e i s r e c -
o g n i s e d a n d s t a r t i n g i s p o s s i b l e .
If the system does not function cor-
rectly, t h e s e r v i c e w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s
o n , a c c o m p a n i e d b y a n a u d i b l e s i g n a l
and a message on the multifunction
d i s p l a y .
I n t h i s c a s e , y o u r v e h i c l e w i l l n o t s t a r t .
