ALARM Setting the alarm
S w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n a n d g e t o u t
o f t h e v e h i c l e .
Set the alarm by locking or dead-
locking using the remote control
(button A i n d i c a t o r l i g h t l a s h e s
o n c e p e r s e c o n d ) .
W h e n t h e a l a r m i s t r i g g e r e d , t h e s i r e n
sounds and the direction indicators
l a s h f o r t h i r t y s e c o n d s .
T h e a l a r m r e m a i n s s e t f o l l o w i n g e a c h
triggering incident. Disarming
U n l o c k t h e v e h i c l e w i t h t h e r e m o t e
control key (button
B indicator light
goes out).
Note: if the alarm has been triggered
w h i l e y o u w e r e a w a y f r o m y o u r c a r , t h e
r a p i d l a s h i n g o f t h e i n d i c a t o r l i g h t w i l l
s t o p w h e n y o u s w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n .
Automatic activation *
T h e a l a r m i s a c t i v a t e d a u t o m a t i c a l l y
t w o m i n u t e s a f t e r t h e l a s t c l o s i n g o f a
door or the boot.
I n o r d e r t o a v o i d a c c i d e n t a l t r i g g e r i n g
o f t h e a l a r m w h e n a d o o r o r t h e b o o t
i s o p e n e d , i t i s e s s e n t i a l t o p r e s s t h e
r e m o t e c o n t r o l o p e n i n g b u t t o n i r s t .

Note: if button A l a s h e s r a p i d l y , t h e
a l a r m h a s b e e n t r i g g e r e d w h i l e y o u
w e r e a w a y f r o m y o u r v e h i c l e .
I f y o u w i s h t o l o c k y o u r v e h i c l e w i t h o u t
s e t t i n g t h e a l a r m , u s e t h e d o o r l o c k .

S w i t c h o n t h e i g n i t i o n i n t h e n e x t
ten seconds. The alarm is dis-
armed.
Incorrect operation
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , i f
button A l i g h t s f o r t e n s e c o n d s , t h e r e
is a fault in the siren connection.
C o n t a c t a P E U G E O T d e a l e r t o h a v e
the system checked.
I f , w h i l e y o u a r e a w a y f r o m t h e v e h i -
c l e , y o u w i s h t o l e a v e a w i n d o w p a r -
t i a l l y o p e n o r a p e t i n s i d e t h e v e h i c l e ,
y o u s h o u l d c h o o s e e x t e r i o r p r o t e c t i o n
only.

ton B until its indicator light is on
continuously.
