Engine oil level indicator
W h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o n , t h e
e n g i n e o i l l e v e l i s i n d i c a t e d o n t h e
i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l d i s p l a y f o r a p p r o x i -
mately 7 seconds.
T h i s l e v e l i s i n d i c a t e d a t t h e s a m e
t i m e a s t h e s e r v i c e i n f o r m a t i o n w h i c h
a p p e a r s o n t h e d i s p l a y l o c a t e d i n t h e
s p e e d o m e t e r d i a l .
Oil level correct
Lack of oil Flashing indicates a lack
o f o i l w h i c h m a y d a m a g e
the engine.
If the lack of oil is con-
i r m e d b y c h e c k i n g u s i n g
t h e d i p s t i c k , i t i s i m p e r a t i v e t h a t t h e
l e v e l i s t o p p e d u p . C h e c k t h e o i l l e v e l u s i n g
t h e d i p s t i c k .
I f t h e l e v e l i s c o r r e c t ,
t h e l a s h i n g i n d i c a t e s a n
e n g i n e o i l l e v e l g a u g e
malfunction.

T h e l e v e l o b s e r v e d o n t h e d i p s t i c k i s
o n l y v a l i d i f t h e v e h i c l e i s p a r k e d o n
l e v e l g r o u n d a n d t h e e n g i n e h a s b e e n
off for more than 15 minutes.
