s e t . I t i s d e t e r m i n e d b y t w o p a r a m e t e r s :
- t h e d i s t a n c e t r a v e l l e d ,
- t h e t i m e e l a p s e d s i n c e t h e l a s t s e r v i c e .

ed by the time factor.

T h e t r i p r e c o r d e r d i s p l a y s h o w s t h e
d i s t a n c e r e m a i n i n g ( i n r o u n d i g u r e s )
b e f o r e t h e n e x t s e r v i c e .
Example: 4 , 8 0 0 m i l e s / k m r e m a i n b e -
f o r e t h e n e x t s e r v i c e i s d u e . W h e n t h e
ignition comes on and for 7 seconds
