Air conditioning
I n a l l s e a s o n s , i f fi t t e d o n y o u r v e h i c l e , t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s h o u l d o n l y b e u s e d w i t h t h e w i n d o w s c l o s e d . H o w e v e r , i f t h e i n t e r i o r t e m p e r a t u r e r e m a i n s h i g h a f t e r a p r o l o n g e d p e r i o d p a r k e d i n t h e s u n , d o n o t h e s i t a t e t o ventilate the passenger compartment for a few minutes.
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a u t o m a t i c a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , u s e t h e A U T O m o d e as much as possible as it permits o p t i m i s e d c o n t r o l o f a l l o f t h e f u n c t i o n s : a i r fl o w , p a s s e n g e r c o m p a r t m e n t c o m f o r t t e m p e r a t u r e , a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n , a i r i n t a k e m o d e o r a i r r e c i r c u l a t i o n i n the passenger compartment.
O p e r a t e t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s y s t e m f o r 5 t o 1 0 m i n u t e s , o n c e o r t w i c e a m o n t h , t o k e e p i t i n p e r f e c t w o r k i n g o r d e r .
I t i s n o r m a l t h a t t h e c o n d e n s a t i o n c r e a t e d b y t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s y s t e m r e s u l t s i n a fl o w o f w a t e r w h i c h m a y f o r m a p u d d l e u n d e r t h e v e h i c l e w h e n p a r k e d .

I n t h i s c a s e , s e l e c t t h e v i s i b i l i t y programme. The visibility programme i n d i c a t o r l i g h t c o m e s o n .
I t a c t i v a t e s t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g , t h e a i r fl o w , t h e d e - i c i n g o f t h e r e a r s c r e e n a n d p r o v i d e s o p t i m u m d i s t r i b u t i o n o f t h e v e n t i l a t i o n t o t h e w i n d s c r e e n a n d s i d e w i n d o w s .
I t d e a c t i v a t e s t h e a i r r e c i r c u l a t i o n .
P r e s s t h i s b u t t o n , w i t h t h e e n g i n e r u n n i n g , t o d e - i c e t h e r e a r s c r e e n a n d m i r r o r s .
T h e d e - i c i n g i n d i c a t o r l i g h t c o m e s o n . T h e d u r a t i o n o f d e - i c i n g d e p e n d s o n t h e e x t e r i o r temperature.
Pressing the button again reactivates t h e d e - i c i n g .
I t i s p o s s i b l e t o s t o p t h e d e - i c i n g b e f o r e i t i s s w i t c h e d o f f automatically by pressing this button again. ADDITIONAL HEATER

AUTOMATIC AIR CONDITIONING WITH SEPARATE SETTINGS
Do not cover the sunshine sensor l o c a t e d i n t h e c e n t r e o f t h e f a s c i a . T h i s i s u s e d t o r e g u l a t e t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g .
L o c a t e d o n t h e c e n t r e c o n s o l e , t h e control panel is to the right of the gear lever.
1 - AUTO mode
This is the normal air c o n d i t i o n i n g o p e r a t i n g m o d e .
Refer to the beginning of the "Ventilation" section of chapter 7.
T h e d r i v e r a n d f r o n t p a s s e n g e r c a n e a c h a d j u s t t h e a i r t e m p e r a t u r e t o s u i t their requirements.
T h e y c a n a l s o a c t i v a t e o r d i s a r m t h e r e a r v e n t i l a t i o n a d j u s t m e n t c o n t r o l s .
F o r y o u r c o m f o r t , t h e s e t t i n g s s e l e c t e d w h e n t h e i g n i t i o n i s s w i t c h e d o f f w i l l b e r e t a i n e d w h e n i t i s s w i t c h e d o n a g a i n , if the temperature in the passenger c o m p a r t m e n t h a s n o t c h a n g e d s i g n i fi c a n t l y ; o t h e r w i s e , o p e r a t i o n w i l l r e s u m e i n a u t o m a t i c m o d e .

Press the "AUTO" button.
D e p e n d i n g o n t h e c o m f o r t t e m p e r a t u r e s e l e c t e d , t h e s y s t e m c o n t r o l s t h e a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n , fl o w a n d i n t a k e s o t h a t t h e passenger compartment is comfortable a n d h a s a n a d e q u a t e c i r c u l a t i o n o f a i r . Y o u d o n o t h a v e t o m a k e a n y f u r t h e r a d j u s t m e n t s .
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s c o l d , i n o r d e r t o p r e v e n t a r u s h o f c o l d a i r , t h e ventilation will reach its optimum level progressively.

P r e s s i n g t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g b u t t o n ( s ) 4 allows you to p o s i t i o n t h e a i r fl o w t o w a r d s :
- t h e w i n d s c r e e n ,
- t h e s i d e v e n t s a n d t h e c e n t r a l v e n t s ,
- t h e s i d e v e n t s , t h e c e n t r a l v e n t s a n d t h e f o o t w e l l s ,
- t h e w i n d s c r e e n a n d t h e f o o t w e l l s ,
- the footwells.
T h e i n d i c a t o r l i g h t c o r r e s p o n d i n g t o t h e p o s i t i o n s e l e c t e d 4 comes on.
5 - Adjustment of the rear ventilation ("REAR" version)
T o p e r m i t a d j u s t m e n t o f the ventilation to the rear p a s s e n g e r s , p r e s s t h e REARbutton.
The rear ventilation symbol is d i s p l a y e d .
3 - Passenger’s temperature adjustment
T h e r e q u i r e d v a l u e i s d i s p l a y e d ( f r o m 1 4 t o 2 8 : c o m f o r t v a l u e = 2 1 ) .
T h e m a x i m u m d i f f e r e n c e b e t w e e n t h e v a l u e d i s p l a y e d f o r t h e d r i v e r a n d f o r t h e passenger may not be greater than 5.
I f y o u u s e t h e s e m a n u a l a d j u s t m e n t s , the AUTO symbol switches off.
P r e s s t h e c o r r e s p o n d i n g "+" a n d "-" b u t t o n s t o a d j u s t .
T o m a k e t h e d r i v e r a n d p a s s e n g e r setting the same:
- a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g w i t h " M O N O " v e r s i o n , p r e s s t h e MONO button.
- a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g w i t h " R E A R " v e r s i o n , p r e s s t h e + button for more t h a n t w o s e c o n d s .
O n e n t e r i n g t h e v e h i c l e , t h e interior temperature may be c o n s i d e r a b l y l o w e r ( o r h i g h e r ) than is comfortable. It is not necessary t o c h a n g e t h e v a l u e d i s p l a y e d i n o r d e r t o q u i c k l y o b t a i n t h e d e s i r e d l e v e l o f comfort. The system will operate at maximum performance to reach the comfort value set.
MONO Version
Press this button once to obtain an even temperature throughout the passenger compartment. The reference v a l u e i s s e l e c t e d b y t h e d r i v e r .
Take care not to obstruct t h e s i d e v e n t s a n d t h e a i r o u t l e t s o n t h e fl o o r .
T h e r o w 2 s i d e v e n t s a i r fl o w a d j u s t m e n t c o n t r o l s a r e o p e r a t i o n a l a n d c a n b e a d j u s t e d .
T o d e a c t i v a t e t h e r e a r v e n t i l a t i o n c o n t r o l s , press the REAR button again.
The rear ventilation symbol switches off.

8 - Intake of exterior air/Recirculation of interior air
- Press this button to r e c i r c u l a t e t h e a i r i n s i d e .

Recirculation insulates the passenger c o m p a r t m e n t f r o m o u t s i d e s m e l l s a n d smoke .
9 - Air conditioning On/Off
- Press this button to activate automatic operation of the air c o n d i t i o n i n g .
T h e s y m b o l a n d t h e i n d i c a t o r l i g h t 9 a r e d i s p l a y e d .
- Press this button again to switch off t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g .

- Operating control knob 6 again or the "Visibility" button or "AUTO"button reactivates the system with the values which were present b e f o r e i t w a s s w i t c h e d o f f .
Flashing of the points in the t e m p e r a t u r e s e t t i n g v a l u e s i n d i c a t e s that there is a malfunction of the air c o n d i t i o n i n g .
