General safety recommendations
Labels are applied at various
points on your vehicle. They carry
safety warnings as well as vehicle
identification information. Do not
remove them: they form an integral part
of your vehicle.
For any work on your vehicle, use
a qualified workshop that has the
technical information, skills and
equipment required, all of which a
PEUGEOT dealer is able to provide.We draw your attention to the following points:
- The fitting of electrical equipment or accessories not listed by PEUGEOT may cause
excessive current consumption and faults and failures with the electrical system of your
vehicle. Contact a PEUGEOT dealer for information on the range of recommended
accessories.

s a safety measure, access to the diagnostic socket, used for the vehicle’s electronic
systems, is reserved strictly for PEUGEOT dealers or qualified workshops, equipped
with the special tools required (risk of malfunctions of the vehicle’s electronic systems
that could cause breakdowns or serious accidents). The manufacturer cannot be held
responsible if this advice is not followed.

ny modification or adaptation not intended or authorised by Automobiles PEUGEOT
or carried out without meeting the technical requirements defined by the manufacturer
would lead to the suspension of the legal and contractual warranties.
Installation of accessory radio communication transmitters
Before installing a radio communication transmitter, you must contact a PEUGEOT dealer
for the specification of transmitters which can be fitted (frequency, maximum power,
aerial position, specific installation requirements), in line with the Vehicle Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive (2004/104/EC).
Depending on the legislation in force in the country, certain safety equipment may be
compulsory: high visibility safety vests, warning triangles, breathalysers, spare bulbs, spare
fuses, fire extinguisher, first aid kit, mud flaps at the rear of the vehicle...

BonnetProtects the components in the front compartment and provides access for checking levels, charging the 12 V battery, changing fuses, etc.

and raise the bonnet. F

pen the bonnet fully and on the right,
unclip the stay C from its holder.

it the stay C in one of the two notches to
hold the bonnet open.

pen the front right door.

ull the interior release lever A , located at
the bottom of the door aperture.

F Take the stay out of the support notch.

C lip the stay in its housing.

ower the bonnet and release it at the end
of its travel.

ull on the bonnet to check that it is fully
latched.
Do not press down on the middle of
the bonnet if it does not fully close, as
there is a risk of deforming it. Open the
bonnet fully and close it again.
The location of the interior release lever
prevents opening of the bonnet while
the front right door is closed.

Changing a fuse
The extraction tweezer is fitted to the back of
the fusebox cover in the dashboard (right-hand
side).
For access:

nclip the cover and remove it completely
by pulling it towards you.

emove the tweezer.
Access to tools
Before changing a fuse, the cause of the failure
must be identified and rectified.

heck that the ignition switch is in
the
"LOCK " position.

dentify the failed fuse by checking the
condition of its filament.

lways replace the failed fuse with a fuse
of the same rating.

heck that the number marked on the box,
the rating marked on the top of the fuse
and the tables below all agree. PEUGEOT will not accept responsibility

accessories not supplied and not

not installed in accordance with its
instructions, in particular when the
consumption of all of the additional

The fusebox is placed in the front compartment
under the heating system fluid reservoir. Only
these fuses can be replaced.
The replacement of fuses for other
units (e.g. vacuum pump and 12 V
battery) requires the involvement of
a PEUGEOT dealer or a qualified
workshop.
