Changing a wheel
4. OPERATING PROCEDURE - P l a c e t h e j a c k i n c o n t a c t w i t h t h e l o c a t i n g p o i n t p r o v i d e d , t h e o n e
which is closest to the wheel to
b e c h a n g e d . E n s u r e t h a t t h e j a c k
is straight and that the base of
the jack is fully in contact with the
ground.
- E x t e n d t h e j a c k t o l i f t t h e w h e e l clear of the ground.
- R e s u m e a n d c o m p l e t e t h e unscrewing of the wheel bolts.
- Remove the bolts and remove the wheel.
D o n o t e x t e n d t h e j a c k u n t i l y o u h a v e
started unscrewing the bolts on the
w h e e l t o b e c h a n g e d a n d h a v e p l a c e d
the chock under the wheel diagonally
o p p o s i t e .
- R e m o v e t h e t r i m p u l l i n g i t u s i n g t h e
embellisher remover.
- Loosen the wheel bolts and start unscrewing them. Anti-theft bolts
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h w h e e l s w i t h
alloy rims:
- E a c h w h e e l h a s a n a n t i - t h e f t b o l t .
- T h e s e b o l t s c a n b e l o o s e n e d u s i n g
your anti-theft socket (given to you
in delivery of your vehicle) and the
wheelbrace.

Changing a wheel
- L o w e r t h e v e h i c l e c o m p l e t e l y b y folding the jack, then remove the
jack.
- T i g h t e n t h e b o l t s a g a i n u s i n g t h e wheelbrace, tighten them fully
without forcing them.
- P l a c e t h e w h e e l t o b e r e p a i r e d i n the carrier. - Secure the carrier on the hook then
raise the carrier using the bolt and
the wheelbrace.
Never go underneath a vehicle
t h a t i s s u p p o r t e d o n l y b y a
j a c k ( u s e a r a m p ) . N e v e r u s e
a s c r e w d r i v e r i n p l a c e o f t h e
wheelbrace.
5. FITTING THE SPARE WHEEL
- P o s i t i o n t h e w h e e l o n t h e h u b a n d
start tightening the bolts by hand.
- Carry out an initial tightening of the bolts using the wheelbrace.

REMOVABLE SNOW SCREEN
According to country, the removable
snow screen is installed on the lower
p a r t o f t h e f r o n t b u m p e r t o p r e v e n t t h e
accumulation of snow at the radiator
cooling fan.
Do not forget to remove the snow
s c r e e n w h e n t h e e x t e r i o r t e m p e r a t u r e
is higher than 10 °C (no risk of snowfall)
and when towing.

switched off, there is no braking or
steering assistance.

2 - Gross vehicle weight (GVW).
3 - Gross train weight (GTW).
4.1 - Maximum weight on front axle.
4.2 - Maximum weight on rear axle. This is engraved on the front right
wheelarch.
The label
C , on the front door gives:
- the wheel and tyre sizes,
- the brands of tyres approved by the manufacturer,
- the tyre pressures (the tyre pressure must be checked when the tyre is
cold, at least once a month),

04 HANDS-FREE KIT
For safety reasons and because they require prolonged attention on the part of the driver, the operations for matching of the Bluetooth mobile telephone with the audio equipment hands-fre e kit must be carried out with the vehicle stationary and the ignition on.
Select the accessory which corresponds to the n a m e o f t h e v e h i c l e , a s u p e r i m p o s e d c o n fi g u r a t i o n display appears on the multifunction display.
Activate the telephone’s Bluetooth function and carry out a search of the Bluetooth accessories present for the telephone.
Select the YES tab on the display using t h e b u t t o n s t h e n c o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K .
Enter the vehicle’s authentication code (=1234). Depending on the telephone, you may be asked to enter this code before the superimposed c o n fi g u r a t i o n d i s p l a y a p p e a r s .

RECEIVING A CALL
An incoming call is announced by a ring and a supe rimposed display on the multifunction display.
Select the YES tab on the display u s i n g t h e b u t t o n s a n d c o n fi r m b y pressing OK.
Press the end of the steering wheel stalk to accept the call.
Press the end of the steering wheel stalk for more than two seconds to access your directory.
To dial a number, use the keypad on your telephone.
