reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used.
W h e n fi l l i n g t h e f u e l t a n k , d o n o t
c o n t i n u e a f t e r t h e 3 r d c u t - o f f o f t h e
nozzle. This could cause malfunctions.

FUEL CIRCUIT DISARMED
In a serious collision, a mechanism
automatically prevents fuel from
reaching the engine.

DIESEL REPRIMING PUMP
If you should run out of fuel, it is
n e c e s s a r y t o r e - p r i m e t h e c i r c u i t :
- fi l l t h e f u e l t a n k w i t h a t l e a s t fi v e litres of diesel,
- s q u e e z e a n d r e l e a s e t h e m a n u a l r e - p r i m i n g p u m p , u n d e r t h e b o n n e t
under the protective cover,
- o p e r a t e t h e s t a r t e r u n t i l t h e e n g i n e starts.
Refer to the "Under the bonnet"
section of chapter 6.
W h e n fi l l i n g w i t h f u e l , a m e c h a n i c a l
s y s t e m p r e v e n t s o p e n i n g o f t h e l e f t -
h a n d s i d e d o o r . W h e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p
is open, ensure that no one tries to
slide this door.
O n c e t h e fl a p h a s b e e n c l o s e d , t h e
s l i d i n g s i d e d o o r m a y j a m , p u s h t h e
door to close it then open it.
W h e n t h e m i n i m u m f u e l t a n k
level is reached, this warning
light comes on.
You then have
approximately
8 litres of fuel remaining. Fill
up without delay to avoid running out of
fuel.

In each country, it is imperative that
the towed loads authorised by local
l e g i s l a t i o n a r e c o m p l i e d w i t h . T o fi n d
out your vehicle's towing capacities
and its gross train weight, consult a
PEUGEOT dealer. The braked towed weight with load
transfer can be increased, on condition
that the equivalent of this load is
removed from the vehicle so that the
GTW is not exceeded. Warning: towing
using a lightly loaded towing vehicle
may have an adverse effect on its road
holding.
GTW: gross train weight
GVW: gross vehicle weight
MOM: kerb weight
CVA: vertical load on the towbar
The speed of a towing vehicle must
not exceed 60 mph (100 km/h) (comply
with the legislation in force in your
country). High exterior temperatures may result
in a reduction in the performance of the
vehicle in order to protect the engine;
when the exterior temperature is higher
than 37 °C, limit the towed weight.
The kerb weight is equal to the weight
without load + driver (75 kg) + fuel tank
fi l l e d t o 9 0 % .
The GTW and towed load values
indicated are valid up to a maximum
altitude of 1 000 metres; the towed
load mentioned must be reduced by
1 0 % f o r e a c h a d d i t i o n a l 1 0 0 0 m e t r e s .

Diesel - Petrol engines
Quality of the fuel used for petrol engines
T h e p e t r o l e n g i n e s a r e p e r f e c t l y c o m p a t i b l e w i t h E 5 t y p e p e t r o l b i o f u e l s ( c o n t a i n i n g 5 % e t h a n o l ) , c o n f o r m i n g t o E u r o p e a n standard EN 228.
E 8 5 t y p e f u e l s ( c o n t a i n i n g u p t o 8 5 % e t h a n o l ) a r e r e s e r v e d e x c l u s i v e l y f o r v e h i c l e s m a r k e t e d f o r t h e u s e o f t h i s t y p e o f f u e l (BioFlex vehicles). The quality of the ethanol must comply with European standard EN 15376.
F o r B r a z i l o n l y , s p e c i a l v e h i c l e s a r e m a r k e t e d t o r u n o n f u e l s c o n t a i n i n g u p t o 1 0 0 % e t h a n o l ( t y p e E 1 0 0 ) .
Quality of the fuel used for Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly compatible with biofuels which conform to current and future European standards (diesel fuel which complies with standard EN 590 mixed with a biofue l which complies with standard EN 14214) which can be d i s t r i b u t e d a t t h e p u m p s ( p o s s i b l e i n c o r p o r a t i o n o f 0 t o 7 % F a t t y A c i d M e t h y l E s t e r ) .
The use of any other type of (bio) fuel (vegetable or animal oils, domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited (risk of damage to the engine and fuel circuit).
