atedirectionusingthecontrolswitchB.

reversegearmustbeengagedwhenthe
seatpositionisstored.
3.KeepmemorybuttonMdepressedandaddi-
tionallypressoneofthepersonbuttons1or
2.
Theindividualsettingisnowstoredunderthe
desiredpersonbutton.

Recallingseatposition
1.Switch
theignitiononor
openthedriver'sdoor.
2.Presspersonbuttonuntiltheseathas
reacheditsfinalposition.
Themirrorsettingwillbecompletedevenif
thepersonbuttonisnotkeptdepressed.

Automaticseatadjustmentcanbeinterrupted
immediatelybyreleasingthebutton.

assignedanindividualseatanddoormirror
position.
Thestoredseatanddoormirrorpositionisset
automatically
whenthevehicleisunlockedusing

Eachkeyisidentifiedwithadifferentcolour.
Storingseatposition
1.Switchtheignitiononwiththedesiredvehicle
key.
2.Setthe
desiredseatanddoor-mirrorposit-
ions.

Ifyouwishforthepassenger'smirrortoswi-
veldownasaparkingaidwhenreversing,
reversegearmustbeengagedwhenthe
seatpositionisstored.
3.KeepmemorybuttonM
depressedandaddi-
tionallypressthe~
button(besidethe
memorybutton).
Theindividualsettingisnowassignedtothis
remotecontrol
andtothe~
button.

Recallingseat
position

Theseatpositionassignedtoaremotecontrol

1.Switchtheignitiononwiththedesiredvehicle
key.
2.Simultaneouslypressandhold

onds.

Limitsofultrasonicmeasurement
Theparkingassistantsystemcannotdetect:
-sound-absorbingobstacles(e.g.powder
snow),
-sound-reflectingobstacles(e.g.glasssur-
faces,flatpaintedsurfaces)
-andverythinobstacles.
Otherultrasoundsources(e.g.pneumatic
brakesofothervehicles,jackhammers)can
interferewithdetectionofobstacles.
Faultindication
Theparkingassistantsystemindicatesafaultin
twoways:
-Afterreversegearhasbeenselected,the
shortsignaltoneisfollowedbyacontinuous
toneofthe
same
pitch:
Thisindicatesthatsensorsaresoiledor
coveredwithice.
-Afterreversegearhasbeenselected,the
shortsignaltoneisfollowedbyacontinuous
tonewithamuchlowerpitch:
Thisindicatesageneralsystemfault.Please
havethefaultremediedatanauthorized
