Polisheswhichdissolveoxides,suchasthosefrequentlyusedforothermetals,orabrasivetoolsoragentsareunsuitablebecausetheybreakdowntheoxidelmoftheprotectivecoatingandwillcausediscolorationofthewheel.
Everythreemonths,aftercleaning,coatthewheelswithacarwaxornon-corrosivegrease(vaseline).Usingacleancloththoroughlyrubthegreaseintothesurface.

Characteristicsandspecialfeatures
Thenaturalsurfacemarkingsofleather,e.g.creases,healedscars,insectstingmarks,structuraldifferencesandslightvariationsinshadeandgrainaddtotheattractivenessofthenaturalleatherproduct.
Aspecialmentionmustbemadehereofnaturalleather.Fornaturalleather,carefullyselectedhidesofthehighestqualityareused.Itisnotcoveredcompletelywithdyeonproduction.“Nature’ssignature”isthereforeeasilyrecognizable.Thisfinematerialisdistinguishedbyanoutstandingseatingcomfort,specialsupplenessandatypicalpatina.

Cleanalltypesofleatherregularlytoremovefinedustusingasoft,damp,whitewoolenclothoracommerciallyavailablemicrofibercloth.
