Buckleyoursafetybelts.
Checkoperationofthefootandparkingbrake.
Checkallwarningandindicatorlightswithignitiononandenginenotrunning.
Startengineandcheckallwarningdisplaysforwarningsymbols.
Neverleaveanidlingcarunattended.
Lockdoorsfrominside,especiallywithchildreninthecartopreventinadvertentopeningofdoorsfrominsideoroutside.Drivewithdoorslocked.

Ifthevehiclewaslockedbeforetheluggagecom-partmentisopened,itisunlockedsimultaneouslywiththeluggagecompartment.Invehicleswithseatmemorythestoredseatanddoormirrorposi-tionsareautomaticallyset.Thevehiclewillbelockedagainapprox.15secondsafterthelug-gagecompartmentisclosedifnoneofthedoorswasopened.

YourauthorizedPorschedealercanprogramfurthertypesofunlocking.
Type1
Therelockingtimeofthedoorscanbeadjustedtosuityourindividualrequirements(4-120seconds).
Type2
Thedoorsstaylockedwhentheluggagecompart-mentisunlocked.
Malfunctionoftheremotecontrol
Theremotecontrolmaynotfunctioncorrectlyduetolocalradiowaveinterference.Thevehiclewillthennotlockproperly.Thiscanbeidentifiedbythemissinglockingsoundandthemissingcheck-backsignalofthehazardwarninglights.

Function
Beforedrivingthevehicle,adjusttheoutsideandinsidemirrors.Itisimportantforsafedrivingthatyouhavegoodvisiontotherear.
Warning!
Riskofanaccident,resultinginseriouspersonalinjuryordeath.
Donotputanythingonornearthewindowsorthemirrorsthatmayinterferewiththedriver’svision.
Adjusting
1.Switchonignition.
2.ByturningthecontrolswitchA,selectthedriver’ssideorthepassenger’sside.
3.Movethedoormirrorglassesintheappropri-atedirectionbytiltingthecontrolswitch.
Iftheelectricaladjustmentfacilityfails
Adjustmirrorbypressingonthemirrorface.

1.Pushmirrortowardsthedoorwindowandcontinuetoholdit(highspringforce).
2.Swivelthelockingleveruptothestopandslowlyletgoofthemirror.
Unfoldingdoormirrors
1.Pushmirrortowardsthedoorwindowandcontinuetoholdit(highspringforce).Thelockingleverdisengagesautomatically.
2.Movemirrorbacktounfoldedpositionbyhand.Donotletgoofthemirrorbeforehand.

Function
Sensorsonthefrontandrearsidesoftheinteriormirrormeasuretheincidentlight.Themirrorsautomaticallychangetoanti-glarepositionorreverttotheirnormalstate,dependingonthelightintensity.Whenreversegearisselected,automaticanti-glareoperationisswitchedoff.

Recallingseatposition
Theseatpositioncanonlybecalledupwhenthevehicleisstationary.
1.Switchontheignitionoropenthedriver’sdoor.
2.Presspersonbuttonuntiltheseathasreacheditsfinalposition.Thedoormirrorandthelumbarsupportsettingwillbecompletedevenifthepersonbuttonisnotkeptdepressed.
Note
Automaticseatadjustmentcanbeinterruptedimmediatelybyreleasingthebutton.

Operatingwiththeremotecontrolofthe

Individualassignmentoftheremotecontrol
Eachremotecontrol(uptosix)canbeassignedanindividualseatanddoormirrorposition.Thestoredseatanddoormirrorpositionissetautomaticallywhenthevehicleisunlockedusingthecorrespondingremotecontrol.
Storingseatposition
1.Switchtheignitiononwiththedesiredvehiclekey.Reversegearmustnotbeengaged.
2.Setthedesiredseatanddoor-mirrorpositions.
3.KeepmemorybuttonMdepressedandadditionallypresskeybutton1.Theindividualsettingisnowassignedtothisremotecontrolandtothekeybutton.
Storingindividualloweredpositionofthe
passenger’sdoormirrorasaparkingaid
Oncethedriver’sseatsettinghasbeenstored,anindividualloweredpositionofthepassenger’sdoormirrormaybestoredfordrivinginreverse:
1.Applythehandbrake.
2.Switchtheignitiononwiththedesiredvehiclekey.
3.Engagereversegear.
4.Selectpassengersidewithmirrorswitch.Thepassenger’smirrorswivelsdownwards.
5.Setpassenger’sdoormirrortodesiredfinalposition.
6.KeepmemorybuttonMdepressedandadditionallypresskeybutton1.Theindividualsettingisnowassignedtothisremotecontrolandtothekeybutton.
Recallingseatposition
Unlockthelockedvehicleortheluggagecompartmentwiththeremotecontrol.Thestoredseatpositionisautomaticallyset.
Theseatpositionassignedtoaremotecontrolcanalsoberecalledwiththekeybutton1ifthecorrespondingkeywasusedtoswitchontheignition.
Ifnoseatpositionhasbeenassignedtoaremotecontrol,thekeybuttonwillnotwork.
Noteonoperation
Automaticseatadjustmentcanbeinterruptedimmediately:
byswitchingontheignition,
bypressingthecentrallockingbutton,
bypressinganymemoryorseatadjustmentbutton.
Clearingthestoredseatposition
1.Switchtheignitiononwiththedesiredvehiclekey.
Pressmemorybuttontwiceandkeybutton1onceconsecutively.
