Ifthecarisunlockedbyremotecontrolandnoneofthecardoorsisopenedwithinapprox.60seconds,automaticrelockingtakesplace.Thisrelockingtimecanbeadaptedtoyourindividualrequirements(4-120seconds)byanauthorizedPorschedealer.
Emergencyoperation-opening
Unlockthedriver’sdoorwiththekeyatthedoorlock.
Emergencyoperation-closing
Lockthedriver’sdoorwiththekeyatthedoorlock.Ifthereisadefectinthecentrallockingsystem,allfunctioningelementsofthecentrallockingsystemwillbelocked.
ThefaultshouldberemediedimmediatelyatanauthorizedPorschedealer.
Indicationbyemergencyasher
Iftheremotecontrolisusedforunlockingorlocking,aresponseisprovidedbytheemergencyflasher:
–Unlocking-singleflash.
–Locking-doubleflash.
Overloadprotection
Ifthecentrallockingsystemisoperatedmorethantentimeswithinaminute,furtheroperationisblockedfor30seconds.

Unlockingthevehiclebyusingthekeyinthedoorlockandopeningthedoormayactivatethealarmsystemwithin10seconds.
Note
OnvehicleswiththeSportChronoPackagePlus,thePCMcanbeusedtoactivateautomaticdoorlocking.

Automaticrelocking
Ifthecarisunlockedbyremotecontrolandnoneofthecardoorsisopenedwithinapprox.60seconds,automaticrelockingtakesplace.Thisrelockingtimecanbeadaptedtoyourindividualrequirements(4-120seconds)byanauthorizedPorschedealer.
Lockingconditions
Lockcaronce.Thedoorscannotbeopenedfromtheoutside.Alarmsystemandpassen-gercompartmentmonitoringareswitchedon.
Ifapersonoranimalremainsinthevehicle:
Quicklylockcartwice:Thedoorscannotbeopenedfromtheoutside.Thepassengercompartmentmonitoringisswitchedoff.
Unlockingthedoorwiththeinnerdoorhandle
Anypersonremaininginthelockedcarcanopenthedoorwiththeinnerdoorhandle:
1.Pullinnerdoorhandleoncetounlockdoorlock.
2.Pullinnerdoorhandleagaintoopendoor.
Note
Informanypersonremaininginthecarthatthealarmsystemwillbetriggeredifthedoorisopened.

Unlockthevehiclewiththeremotecontrol.
Thealarmsystemandpassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemareswitchedoffautomaticallywhenthedoorsareunlocked.
Functionindication
Ifthealarmsystemisactivated,light-emittingdiodeAonthedashboardflashes.
If,afterlocking,thelight-emittingdiodedoesnotflashor,aftertenseconds,itemitsdoubleflashes,thennotallalarmcontactsareclosed.Additionally,abriefhornsignalsounds.
Whenthedoorsareunlocked,thealarmsystemandpassengercompartmentmonitoringsystemareswitchedoffandthelight-emittingdiodegoesoff.
Whenthealarmisarmed,thefollowing

–Doors
–Frontandrearlids
–Convertible-toplock
–Glovecompartment
–Passengercompartment
Ifoneofthesealarmcontactsisinterrupted,thealarmhornsoundsforapproximately3minutes.

Warninglight“A”
Ifthecoolanttemperatureistoohigh,thewarninglightcomeson.Additionally,awarningisdisplayedintheon-boardcomputer.
Pullofftheroad,turnofftheengineandallowtocool.
Checkradiatorandairpassagesinfrontendofcarforobstructions.
Checkcoolantlevel.Ifnecessary,addcoolantandhavefaultremediedatanauthorizedPorschedealer.

Theexpansiontankforthecoolantislocatedintherearluggagecompartmentundertheserviceflap.
Checkthecoolantlevelregularly.
Whentheengineiscoldandthecarislevelthefluidlevelmustliebetweenthe“Min.”and“Max.”markings.
