AsteeringwheellockandagongalarmarestandardequipmentinyourPorsche.Thegongalarmwillsoundifyouopenthedriver’sdoorwhilethekeyisstillintheignitionlock.Itisyourremindertopullthekeyoutoftheignitionlockandtolockthedoors.
Warning!
Anyuncontrolledmovementofthevehiclemayresultinpropertydamage,seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.Neverleaveyourvehicleunattendedwiththekeyintheignitionlock,especiallyifchildrenand/orpetsareleftunattendedinthevehicle.Theycanoperatepowerwindowsandothercontrols.Iftheengineisleftrunning,theymayaccidentallyengagetheshiftlever.Seriouspersonalinjuryordeathcouldresultfromlossofcontrolofthevehicle.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkey.
Alwayssettheparkingbrake.
Lockthedoorswiththeremotecontrol.

Riskofaseriousaccident.Thesteeringcolumnwilllockwhenyouremovethekeywhileyouaredrivingorasthecarisrollingtoastop.Youwillnotbeabletosteerthecar.Seriouspersonalinjuryordeathcouldresultfromlossofcontrolofthevehicle.

Operatethesecomponentswhiledrivingonlyifthetrafficsituationallowsyoutodososafely.
Carryoutanycomplicatedoperatingorsettingproceduresonlywiththevehiclestationary.
Dependingontheequipmentinyourvehicle,youcanusethefunctionkeysofthemulti-functionalsteeringwheeltooperatethefollowingPorschecommunicationsystems:

TurnvolumecontrolUpwards-increasevolume.Downwards-decreasevolume.PressvolumecontrolToswitchvolume/muteonandoff.
TurnrotaryknobToselect/markfunctioninthePCM.Todothis,turntherotaryknobupwardordownward.PressrotaryknobToactivateselectedfunction.
PressscreenbuttonTocallthestoredPCMfunction.ThebuttoncanbeassignedthedesiredfunctioninthePCM.

IntheeventoffaultstheTirePressureMonitoringcannotmonitorthetirepressure.Thewarninglightontheinstrumentpanellightsupandacorrespondingmessageappearsontheon-boardcomputer.
Monitoringisnotactivewhen:
–theTirePressureMonitoringisfaulty,
–wheeltransmittersfortheTirePressureMonitoringaremissing,
–temporarilyafterchangingawheel(learningphase),
–morethanfourwheeltransmittersaredetect-ed,
–thereisexternalinterferencebyotherradiosources,e.g.wirelessheadphones,
–tiretemperaturesaretoohigh.
