Movewiperlevertoposition0.
Therainsensorremainsswitchedoffifthewiperleverisalreadyinposition1whentheignitionisswitchedon.

Changingthesensitivityoftherainsensor
SensitivitycanbesetwithswitchAin4stages:
AdjustswitchAupwards-highsensitivity.Thesettingisconfirmedbyonewipeofthewindshield.
AdjustswitchAdownwards-lowsensitivity.
Maintenancenote
Periodicallycleanthewiperbladeswithawin-dowcleaner,especiallyafterthevehiclehasbeenwashedinacarwash.WerecommendPorschewindowcleaner.Iftheyareverydirty(e.g.withinsectremains),theycanbecleanedwithaspongeorcloth.
Ifthewiperbladesruborsqueak,thismaybeasaresultofthefollowing:
Ifthevehicleiswashedinanautomaticcarwash,waxresiduesmaybeadheringtothewindshield.Thesewaxresiduescanberemovedusingawindowcleanerconcentrate.

6–Rearwindowwiper-intermittentopera-tion:
Movewiperleverforwardstothefirstclick.Therearwindowwiperwipesatpresetintervals.
Therearwiperisautomaticallyswitchedoffwhenaspeedof130mph(210km/h)isexceeded.Itisswitchedonagainwhenthespeedfallsbelow118mph(190km/h).
OnvehicleswiththeSportChronoPlusPackage,furtherrearwiperfunctionscanbeselectedviathePCM.

AutomaticSpeedControl
Function
Theautomaticspeedcontrolmaintainsanyselectedspeedbetween15mphand145mph(30km/hand240km/h)withoutyouhavingtousetheacceleratorpedal.Theautomaticspeedcontrolisoperatedwiththeleveronthesteeringwheel.
Warning!
Riskofanaccident,resultinginseriouspersonalinjuryordeath.Aconstantspeedmaynotbesafeinheavytrafc,oronwindingorslipperyroads.Withthespeedcontrolsystemengaged,theenginespeedwillnotreturntoidlewhenremovingthefootfromtheacceleratorpedal.
Donotusethespeedcontrolwhenitmaybeunsafetokeepthecarataconstantspeed.
Observealllocalandnationalspeedlimits.

Pushoperatingleverforward(position1)untilthedesiredspeedisreached.Thespeedreachedismaintainedandstoredwhentheleverisreleased.
Option3
Pushleverslightlyforwards(position1)(amaximumof10times).Thespeedisincreasedby1mph(1.6km/h)eachtime.
Noteonoperation
Speedcontroloperationisautomaticallyinterrupt-edifthespeedisincreasedbymorethanapprox.16mph(25km/h)forlongerthan20seconds.

Brieflypushoperatingleverupwards(position4).Thespeedcontrolaccelerates/deceler-atesthevehicletothestoredspeed.

Allautomaticsettingfunctionscanbeindividuallychanged.Thissettingisretaineduntiltheappropri-atefunctionbuttonispressedagainortheAUTObuttonispressed.
Settingtemperature
PressbuttonHupwardsordownwardsrespectively.
Tosuitpersonalcomfort,theinteriortem-peraturecanbeadjustedbetween61°Fand85°F/16°Cand29.5°C.
Recommendation:72F/22C.
If“LO”or“HI”appearsonthedisplay,thesystemisoperatingatmaximumcoolingorheatingpower.Automaticcontrolisnolongeractive.

Theairconditioningcompressorswitchesoffautomaticallyattemperaturesbelowapprox.37°F/3°Candcannotbeswitchedon,evenmanually.
Wheneveroutsidetemperaturesexceedapprox.37°F/3°C,theair-conditioningcompressorisalwaysswitchedoninautomaticmode.

PressingthebuttonupwardsorpressingtheAUTObuttonswitchestheblowerandautomaticcontrolbackonagain.
