IftheluggagecompartmentlidisunlockedwithunlockinghandleAwhenaspeedof2mph(3km/h)isexceeded,thewarningmessageintheon-boardcomputerlightsup.Atthesametime,thelidisunlockedandthelatchstrikerpopsintothecatch-hookposition.

Ifthevehiclehasbeentransported(e.g.ferry,cartrain),thesystemmaytakeafewminutestodeterminethecurrentlocationafterithasbeenswitchedon.
Serioustireslip(e.g.spinningwheelsonsnow)mayresultintemporarilyinaccuratenavigation.

Ifmanualmodefails,thecontrolelectronicsswitchtoautomaticmode.Inthisevent,theinstrumentclusterwilldisplayselectorleverpositionD.
Havethefaultremedied.Consultanauthor-izedPorschedealer.
Stopping
Forabriefstop,e.g.atatrafficlight,leavetheselectorleverindrivepositionandholdthevehiclewiththebrakepedal.
Foralongerstopwiththeenginerunning,selectpositionN(neutral).
Donotholdthecaronaslopeusingtheaccelerator.Usethebrakepedalorthehandbrakeinstead.
