AsteeringwheellockandagongalarmarestandardequipmentinyourPorsche.Thegongalarmwillsoundifyouopenthedriver’sdoorwhilethekeyisstillintheignitionlock.Itisyourremindertopullthekeyoutoftheignitionlockandtolockthedoors.
Warning!
Anyuncontrolledmovementofthevehiclemayresultinpropertydamage,seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.Neverleaveyourvehicleunattendedwiththekeyintheignitionlock,especiallyifchildrenand/orpetsareleftunattendedinthevehicle.Theycanoperatepowerwindowsandothercontrols.Iftheengineisleftrunning,theymayaccidentallyengagetheshiftlever.Seriouspersonalinjuryordeathcouldresultfromlossofcontrolofthevehicle.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkey.
Alwayssettheparkingbrake.
Lockthedoorswiththeremotecontrol.

Thereisadangerofaccidentifyousetoroperatetheon-boardcomputer,radio,navigationsystem,telephoneorotherequipmentwhendriving.Thiscoulddistractyoufromthetrafcandcauseyoutolosecontrolofthevehicle.Iflossofvehiclecontrolissevereenough,seriouspersonalinjuryordeathcouldresult.
Operatethesecomponentswhiledrivingonlyifthetrafficsituationallowsyoutodososafely.
Carryoutanycomplicatedoperatingorsettingproceduresonlywiththevehiclestationary.
Dependingontheequipmentinyourvehicle,youcanusethefunctionkeysofthemulti-functionalsteeringwheeltooperatethefollowingPorschecommunicationsystems:
–PCM,
–Telephone,
–RadiowithCDdrive,
–CDchanger.

TurnrotaryknobToselect/markfunctioninthePCM.Todothis,turntherotaryknobupwardordownward.PressrotaryknobToactivateselectedfunction.

Monitoringisnotactivewhen:
–theTirePressureMonitoringisfaulty,
–wheeltransmittersfortheTirePressureMonitoringaremissing,
–temporarilyafterchangingawheel(learningphase),
–morethanfourwheeltransmittersaredetect-ed,
–thereisexternalinterferencebyotherradiosources,e.g.wirelessheadphones,
