Besurethetiresareinflatedcorrectly.Checktiresfordamageandtirewear.
Seethatwheelboltsareproperlytightenedandnotlooseormissing.
Checkengineoillevel,addifnecessary.Makeitahabittohaveengineoilcheckedwitheveryrefueling.
Checkallfluidlevelssuchaswindshieldwasherandbrakefluidlevels.
Besurethevehiclebatteryiswellchargedandcrankstheengineproperly.
Checkalldoorsandlidsforproperoperationandlatchthemproperly.
Checkandifnecessaryreplacewornorcrackedwiperblades.
Seethatallwindowsareclearandunobstruct-ed.
Checkairintakeslotsandareabetweenfrontlidandwindshield.Ensurethattheseareasarefreeofsnowandice,sotheheaterandthewindshieldwipersworkproperly.
Ifachildwillberidinginthevehicle,checkchildseat/childseatrestraintsystemtoensurethatrestraintsareproperlyadjusted.
Checkallexteriorandinteriorlightsforoperationandthatthelensesareclean.
Checktheheadlightsforproperaim,andifnecessary,havethemadjusted.
Checkunderthevehicleforleaks.
Besureallluggageisstowedsecurely.
Emergencyequipment
Itisgoodpracticetocarryemergencyequipmentinyourvehicle.Someoftheitemsyoushouldhaveare:windowscraper,snowbrush,containerorbagofsandorsalt,emergencylight,smallshovel,first-aidkit,etc.

Anunlockedcarwiththekeyintheignitionlockinvitescartheft.
AsteeringwheellockandagongalarmarestandardequipmentinyourPorsche.Thegongalarmwillsoundifyouopenthedriver’sdoorwhilethekeyisstillintheignitionlock.Itisyourremindertopullthekeyoutoftheignitionlockandtolockthedoors.
Warning!
Anyuncontrolledmovementofthevehiclemayresultinpropertydamage,seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.Neverleaveyourvehicleunattendedwiththekeyintheignitionlock,especiallyifchildrenand/orpetsareleftunattendedinthevehicle.Theycanoperatepowerwindowsandothercontrols.Iftheengineisleftrunning,theymayaccidentallyengagetheshiftlever.Seriouspersonalinjuryordeathcouldresultfromlossofcontrolofthevehicle.
Alwaysremovetheignitionkey.
Alwayssettheparkingbrake.
Lockthedoorswiththeremotecontrol.

Automaticloweringofthedoorwindows
Ifthedoorwindowsareclosed,theywillbeautomaticallyopenedbyafewmillimeterswhenthedoorsareopenedand,whenthedoorsareclosed,theywillbeclosedagain.Thismakesiteasiertoopenandclosethedoorsandprotectstheseals.
Therefore,youshouldpullthedoorhandleslowlysothatthedoorwindowcanbeloweredbeforethedoorisopened.
Openingdoorsfromoutside
Unlockvehiclewiththeremotecontrol.
PullthedoorhandleAslowlysothatthedoorwindowcanbeloweredbeforethedoorisopened.
Openingunlockeddoorsfrominside
PullthedoorhandleBslowlysothatthedoorwindowcanbeloweredbeforethedoorisopened.

Readinessforoperationofpowerwindows
–Whentheignitionisswitchedon(engineswitchedonoroff)or
–withdoorsclosedandignitionkeywithdrawn,butonlyuntildoorisfirstopened.One-touchoperationforclosingthedoorwindowsisavailableonlywhentheignitionisswitchedon.
Warning!
Riskofanaccident.
Donotputanythingonornearthewindowsthatmayinterferewiththedriver’svision.
Warning!
Riskofinjurywhenthedoorwindowsclose.Thisappliesespeciallyifthewindowsareclosedwiththeone-touchoperation,becausewiththisfunctionthewindowgoesupauto-matically.
Makesurethatfingers,hands,armsandotherbodypartsarenotinthewaywhenthewindowsareclosed.
Removetheignitionkeytoshutoffpowertothewindowswitcheswhenthevehicleisnotattendedbyaresponsibleperson.Uniformedpersonscouldinjurethemselvesbyoperatingthepowerwindows.

Presstherockerswitchdowntothefirststageuntilthewindowhasreachedthedesiredposition.
Closingwindowwiththerockerswitch
Presstherockerswitchupwardstothefirststageuntilthewindowhasreachedthedesiredposition.
One-touchoperation
Presstherockerswitchupwardsordown-wardstothesecondstage.Windowmovestoitsfinalposition.Pressagaintostopthewin-dowinthedesiredposition.
One-touchoperationforclosingthepassenger’swindowisavailableoncethewindowisapproxi-matelyhalf-wayclosed.
Anti-crushingprotection
Ifthedoorwindowisblockedduringclosing,itwillstopandopenagainbyaboutaninch.

Riskofseriouspersonalinjuries.Iftherockerswitchispressedagainwithin10secondsofthewindowbeingblocked,thewindowwillclosewithitsfullclosingforce.Anti-crushingprotectionisdisabled.
Oncetheanti-crushingprotectionactstostopthewindowandopensitslightly,donotpresstherockerswitchagainwithin10secondswithoutcheckingtomakesurethatnothingisblockingthepathofthewindow.Thewindowwillclosewithfullclosingforce.
One-touchoperationisdisabledfor10secondsafterblockageofasidewindow.

Storingendpositionofthewindows
Ifthebatteryisdisconnectedandreconnected,thewindowswillnotberaisedautomaticallywhenthedoorisclosed.

Adjusting
1.Switchonignition.

2.Swivelthelockingleveruptothestopandslowlyletgoofthemirror.

1.Pushmirrortowardsthedoorwindowandcontinuetoholdit(highspringforce).Thelockingleverdisengagesautomatically.
