•Close the lid when not in use and while driving the
vehicle.
• If this outlet is mishandled, it may cause an electric
shock and failure.
CAUTION!
• Many accessories that can be plugged in draw power
from the vehicle’s battery, even when not in use (i.e.,
cellular phones, etc.). Eventually, if plugged in long
enough, the vehicle’s battery will discharge suffi-
ciently to degrade battery life and/or prevent the
engine from starting.
• Accessories that draw higher power (i.e., coolers,
vacuum cleaners, lights, etc.) will degrade the battery
even more quickly. Only use these intermittently and
with greater caution.
• After the use of high power draw accessories, or long
periods of the vehicle not being started (with acces-
sories still plugged in), the vehicle must be driven a
sufficient length of time to allow the generator to
recharge the vehicle’s battery.

AUXILIARY SWITCHES — IF EQUIPPED
Your vehicle may be equipped with two auxiliary switches
located on the instrument panel to the left of the steering
column which can be used to power various electronic
devices. Connections to the switches are found in the right
central pillar fuse panel at the base of the passenger side B
pillar.
Auxiliary Switch 1 is configured to constant battery feed,
while Auxiliary Switch 2 is configured to ignition feed.For further information on using the auxiliary switches,
please refer to the Ram Body Builders Guide by accessing
www.rambodybuilder.com and choosing the appropriate
links.
CUPHOLDERS
The cupholders for the drivers and passenger area are
located near the floor just under the center stack storage
compartment. There are cupholders located in each door
panel as well as one single cupholder located to the right of
the manual climate controls.

This light will illuminate if one or more of the stop light bulb fails.
The failure relating to this light could be:

• A break in the electrical connection

The External Light Failure Indicator will come on when a failure to one of the following lights is
detected:

Vehicle Security Indicator Light
If during starting, the key code is not correctly recognized, the Vehicle Security Light comes on in the in-
strument panel. In this case, turn the key to OFF and then to ON/RUN; if it is still locked, try again with
the other keys that come with the vehicle. Contact an authorized dealer if you still cannot start the en-
gine.
If with the engine running, the warning light comes on, this means that the system is running a self-test
(for example for a voltage drop).

liner thoroughly under warm running water. Shake the
excess water from the liner and dry the outer surfaces with
a clean soft cloth.
Installation
Place the liner into the cupholder drawer and push the
liner into place so that the retention tabs seat into the
corresponding openings in the drawer.
FUSES
WARNING!
•When replacing a blown fuse, always use an appro-
priate replacement fuse with the same amp rating as
the original fuse. Never replace a fuse with another
fuse of higher amp rating. Never replace a blown
fuse with metal wires or any other material. Failure
to use proper fuses may result in serious personal
injury, fire and/or property damage.
• Before replacing a fuse, make sure that the ignition is
off and that all the other services are switched off
and/or disengaged.

•If the replaced fuse blows again, contact an autho-
rized dealer.
• If a general protection fuse for safety systems (air
bag system, braking system), power unit systems
(engine system, gearbox system) or steering system
blows, contact an authorized dealer.
Underhood Fuses
The Front Power Distribution Center is located on the
driver ’s side of the engine compartment. To access the
fuses, remove the cover.
