using a seat belt; check that it can
be fitted.
(2) Raise the seat to the maximum and
position it as far back as possible,
tilting the seatback slightly (approxi-
mately 25°).

HEADLIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT
On vehicles fitted with this function,
control A allows you to adjust the height
of the beams according to the load.
Turn control A downwards to lower the
headlights and upwards to raise them.

If driving on the left in a left-hand
drive vehicle (or vice versa), drivers
must have the lights adjusted by an
authorised dealer for the duration of
the trip.
For manual settings

Utility version
Unclip mountings 3 on either side of the
parcel shelf, then remove it via the boot.
To refit it, proceed in the reverse order
to removal.
Do not place any objects,
especially heavy or solid
objects on the luggage
compartment cover. These
may pose a risk to the vehicle occu-
pants if the driver has to brake sud-
denly or if the vehicle is involved in
an accident.

REAR PARCEL SHELF

Removal
– Lower the rear headrests;
– unhook the two cords 1 from the boot
door;
– lift the parcel shelf 2 to half height in order to unclip it (movement A);
Maximum weight on rear parcel
shelf: 25 kg, evenly distributed.
– push the shelf in (B movement) and
turn it;
– pull the shelf towards you.
To refit, proceed in the reverse order to
removal.

Mobile floor
When fitted to the vehicle, it can be
used to make loading easier.
Note: if you need to access the ISOFIX
ring and/or the net ring at the bottom of
the boot, open flap 3.
BOOT ARRANGEMENTS
Maximum weight for the mobile
floor: 100 kg evenly distributed.
Movable floor storage
– Lower section 1 onto section 2;
– lift the assembly and position it against the back of the rear bench
seat;
– push the catch 4 to lock the mobile
floor in the folded position. Removing the mobile floor
– Lower section
1 onto section 2;
– remove the assembly.
Repositioning the mobile floor
Position it in the boot, using the 5 run-
ners provided.

Choice and fitting of towing
equipment
Maximum weight of towing equip-
ment:
– 18 kg (5-door version);
– 18 kg (Utility version);
– 21.5 kg (Estate version).
For fitting and conditions of use,
refer to the equipment’s fitting ins-
tructions.
Please keep these instructions with
the rest of the vehicle documenta-
tion.
TRANSPORTING OBJECTS towbar

A: 697 mm (5-door version).
A: 697 mm (Utility version).
A: 948 mm (Estate version).
If the towbar ball obscures the regis-
tration plate or the rear fog lights, it
should be removed when not in use.
In all cases, comply with local leg-
islation.

TRANSPORTING OBJECTS: Luggage net (1/2)
Luggage net A
On equipped vehicles, this can be used
when transporting animals or luggage,
to separate them from the passenger
section.
It can be positioned:
– behind the front seats;
– behind the rear bench seat.
Fitting the luggage net
behind the front seats
Inside the vehicle on each side:
– lift the cover 1 to access the upper
mounting ring of the net;
– fix the net strap hook onto the ring; – to access the lower net ring

first time you use it, please contact
an authorised dealer;
– once you have accessed the lower ring attachment, attach the hook of
the net strap to the ring 2;
– adjust the net strap so that it is taut.

The luggage net is de-
signed to retain a maximum
weight of 10 kg.

Closing the bonnet
Check that nothing has been left in the
engine compartment.
To close the bonnet again, hold the
bonnet in the middle and lower it to
30 cm above the closed position, then
release it. It will latch automatically
under its own weight.
After carrying out any work
in the engine compart-
ment, check that nothing
has been left behind (cloth,
tools, etc.).
These may damage the engine or
cause a fire.
Ensure that the bonnet is
properly locked.
Check that nothing is pre-
venting the catch from loc-
king (gravel, cloth, etc.).
In the event of even a slight
impact involving the radia-
tor grille or bonnet, have
the bonnet lock checked by
an approved dealer as soon as pos-
sible.
