RECOMMENDED FUEL

CAUTION:
Do not use leaded gasoline. Using leaded gaso-
line will damage the three-way catalyst.
Excep\b for Europe, Thailand and China: Use UN-
LEADED REGULAR gasoline of a\b leas\b 91 oc\bane
\fRON) .
For Europe: Use UNLEADED PREMIUM gasoline of a\b
leas\b 95 oc\bane \fRON) .
If unleaded premium gasoline is no\b used, UNLEADED
REGULAR gasoline wi\bh an oc\bane ra\bing of a\b leas\b 91
\fRON) may be used a\b sligh\bly reduced performance.
However, for maximum vehicle performance and \bhe
bes\b driveabili\by, \bhe use of unleaded premium gasoline
is recommended.
For Thailand: Use UNLEADED REGULAR gasoline or
gasohol \fup \bo E20*) of a\b leas\b 91 oc\bane \fRON) .
*: Gasohol is alcohol blended gasoline. For example,
“E20” is a mix\bure of approxima\bely 20% fuel e\bhanol
and 80% unleaded gasoline.
For China: Use UNLEADED REGULAR gasoline of a\b
leas\b 93 oc\bane \fRON) .
Your vehicle complies wi\bh GB18352.3-2005. Use
unleaded gasoline wi\bh an oc\bane ra\bing 93 \fRON) or
above and na\bional III or IV emission s\bandard
complian\b. If o\bher \bypes of gasoline are used, i\b will
reduce \bhe performance of \bhe vehicle’s emission
con\brol sys\bem and \bhe Malfunc\bion Indica\bor Ligh\b
\fMIL) will illumina\be.
Diesel engine*
Diesel fuel of a\b leas\b 50 ce\bane* If \bwo \bypes of diesel fuel are available, use summer or win\ber fuel properly according \bo \bhe
following \bempera\bure condi\bions.
. Above í78C \f208F) ... Summer \bype diesel fuel.
. Below í78C \f208F) ... Win\ber \bype diesel fuel.
CAUTION:
.Do not use home heating oil, gasoline or
other alternate fuels in your diesel engine.
The use of those or adding those to diesel
fuel can cause engine damage.
. Do not use summer fuel at temperatures
below í78C (208F) . The cold temperatures
will cause wax to form in the fuel. As a
result, it may prevent the engine from
running smoothly.
