Trunk
To unlock the trunk from the outside, use the vehicle
key or press the trunk button on the remote keyless
entry transmitter, if equipped.
{CAUTION:
It can be dangerous to drive with the trunk lid
open because carbon monoxide (CO) gas can
come into your vehicle. You cannot see or
smell CO. It can cause unconsciousness and
even death. If you must drive with the trunk lid
open or if electrical wiring or other cable
connections must pass through the seal
between the body and the trunk lid:
Make sure all other windows are shut.
Turn the fan on your heating or cooling
system to its highest speed and select the
control setting that will force outside air
into your vehicle. See Climate Control
System.
If you have air outlets on or under the
instrument panel, open them all the way.
SeeEngine Exhaust on page 2-30.
Remote Trunk Release
Press the remote trunk
release button, located
on the lower left side of
the instrument panel,
to release the trunk lid.
Make sure the remote trunk release lockout feature is not
on. The remote trunk release will work when the ignition
is either in LOCK or ACC, the parking brake is engaged,
or the vehicle speed is less than 2 mph (3 km/h).

Cleaning the Mirror
Use a paper towel or similar material dampened with
glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the
mirror as that may cause the liquid cleaner to enter
the mirror housing.
Outside Remote Control Mirror
Adjust the driver’s outside
mirror by moving the
control located on the
driver’s door.
The outside rearview mirrors should be adjusted so you
can see a little of the side of your vehicle while you
are sitting in a comfortable driving position.
To adjust the passenger’s outside mirror, sit in the driver’s
seat and have a passenger adjust the mirror for you.
Outside Power Mirrors
The controls are located
on the driver’s door
armrest.
Move the selector switch to the left or right to choose
the mirror you want to adjust; then press the dots
located on the four-way control pad to adjust the mirror.
