when traffic conditions are favourable and do not require your full
attention.
Traffic Safety
You must familiarise yourself with the radio’s different functions before you
begin driving.
WARNING!
Please become familiar with the handling of your car audio system before
driving.
Loud volume is dangerous when you are driving, for you and other drivers.
You should set the radio to a level that allows you to hear the sounds
around you (e.g. horns, ambulances, police cars etc.).
Radio adjustments should either be done while the vehicle is not in motion
or by a driving companion.K

Switching off the TP
To switch off the function brieflypress the "TP" key.
If the trafficannouncements’ station tuned by you cannot be
listened to properly the setwillautomaticallystartsea

another station ofits classwith better tuning. Ifyou have selected
in the PROG "LEARN ON" mode "LRN..." willbe displayed on
screen.

Hold the "PTY" key pressed untilyou hear the confirmation
signal.

screen

Enter the Radio Card number byrepeatedlypressing the "1" to
"4" keysuntilthe correctnumber isdisplayed on screen.
By pressing key "1" you enter the firstdigit, with "2" the
second,....
By brieflypressing the key for a particular number, you increase
the value by one unit. (After "9", "0" willshow up again).
By holding the number key pressed you decrease its value by
one unit.(After "0", "9" willshow up again).
Example: number 1703.
Do not press key "1" as thisnumber isalreadycorrectlyentered,
as the screen
displays "1000".
Press key "2" seven times. "1700" willbe displayed.
Do not press key "3" as thisnumber isalreadycorrect. "1700" is
displayed.
Press key "4" three times. "1703" willbe displayed.
4. Confirm the security code entered.
Brieflypress the "PTY" key. "SAFE" willbe displayed.
5. ExitPROG mo
