Example of maintenance according to time
However, there are different specific “additional jo bs” depending on the
distance covered or the time passed since delivery . For ex ample:•
Timing belt change (depending on the mileage).

Change of brake fluid (for the first time after 3 years or 200,000 km
(125,000 miles), then every two years).

Additional workIn addition to the Inspection Service, additional maintenance jobs may have
to be carried out, depending on the conditions in wh ich your vehicle is used
and on the equipment carried. This addi tional work should be carried out in
accordance with time/distance travelled to ensure your vehicle remains reli-
able. Your Service Centre will provide detailed in formation about the addi-
tional work that may be necessary. This can be done independently of the
obligatory services, taking into account the notes i n the Maintenance
Programme (or the label: Next service). Your SEAT Service Centre will be
happy to advise you and quote the prices for this additi onal work. Additional
jobs completed are marked on the workshop sheet with the receipt.Every 7,500 km (5,000 miles)•
Engine oil and oil filter: Replace (only engines using high sulphur content
diesel fuel).
Every 30,000 km (20,000 miles)•
Air filter: Clean the housing and replace the filter element (Ibiz a Cupra
only).

Fuel filter: Drain.
•
Fuel filter: Replacement (only diesel engines using biodi esel, or using fuel
that does not comply with the DIN EN 590 standard)

Dust and pollen filter for the passenger compartment : Replace.
•
Manual gearbox: Check the oil level (only in the case of permeability).
