6 Care and maintenance
Information about disc playback Your radio requires no special maintenance,
but it can be damaged when foreign objects,
e.g. credit cards or coins, are inserted into the
CD slot.
For the best possible playback quality, use only
clean and undamaged discs. The drive is
designed for ordinary 12 cm discs.
Your radio can also play recordable CD- R discs
and re- recordable CD- RW discs as long as
each writing session is properly finalized. Full
compatibility with international standard for
CD- DA discs, so- called “Red Book” is
guaranteed. Some copy protected discs do not
conform to this standard and cannot be played.
