Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs yourself. The difficulty level of
replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a danger that
components may be damaged, we recommend that replacement is
carried out by any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another
duly qualified and equipped professional.
Prepare a replacement light bulb
Check the wattage of the light bulb being replaced. (P. 748)

Replacing light bulbs
Headlight low beam (vehicles with halogen bulbs)
For the right side only: Remove
the securing clip and turn and
pull off the washer fluid filler
opener.
Install the washer fluid filler
opener in the reverse order of
removal.
Turn the cover counterclockwise
and remove it.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

If any of the lights listed below has burnt out, have it replaced by
any authorized Toyota dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified
and equipped professional.
Headlight low or high beams (vehicles with discharge head-
lights)
Front position/daytime running lights (vehicles with discharge
headlights)

Stop lights
Tail lights
High mounted stoplight

When replacing the front left headlight low beam (vehicles with halo-
gen headlight) and front left turn signal light bulbs
Remove the securing clip and the upper of the air cleaner duct to allow easy
access to light bulbs.
After replacing the bulbs, make sure to firmly install the upper portion of the
air cleaner duct and secure it with the clip.
Remove the upper of the air cleaner duct
